You know, in the age that he is right now, the way how he carries himself. Yes. Thank you, Sima. The atmosphere and potential to the final European Championship and the most home support of any nation. And always the passion. We've all missed it for so long, but today it is back with a full house as the Euros arrive in Budapest. It'll be a hostile Hungarian welcome for the reigning European Champions, Belfed. Hungary, a collective unit, especially. It is a third tournament meeting between these sides. The previous two. Roland Scholl, the partners Adam Stoller, Gergő Lovrencsics, right wing back for Hungary. A smart tackle by Andrzej Botka, giving himself his shine. From the entrance to the box line, goes Zsolti. Scored the goal, too. It's a stinging effort. It required a fine saving of Acik to keep Zsolti at bay. And goes Semedo. Free kick given by the referee, who is soloing. Dispossessed by Semedo. With the old man with the header. Turned away. Moves. You could hear what 60-odd thousand hung out. Here's the free kick to Portugal. It's a good ball, too. Zsolti was free. No defender anywhere near him. Yeah, you almost think, could Zsolti have took a touch? It was the final group game. It was Hungary who won. Performances last season for Manchester City. Danilo Pereira, all-in midfield man. Zsolti. Foul by Mag. So many weapons he can have. Cavalli will generally have to win the ball. Here's Ronaldo in behind. And made the save in front. Here's Kleinheim. A little bit of service, but yes, you're absolutely right. I think the three in midfield for Hungary will need to get possession of the ball if Hungary are going to get a result this afternoon. Zsolti. And Bernardo Silva. Lovrencic. Not many more. So he's relying on Fernandes, Silva and Jota. Rope of eight final. Before them and the Royal Hodgson back in 2010. Atletico Madrid 2-1. And Ronaldo. Here's Bernardo Silva. Here's Zsolti. And a goal kick's been given. Bernardo Silva going down. The tackle was by Willy Orbea. And it was deemed to be a fair one. Probing continues. Bruno Fernandes just looking to slide him in on the edge of the box. Semedo. Cross is deflected. Great player, but a phenomenal strong mind as well. He's jumping there for the header. Another ball in by Bernardo Silva. Not mentioned is Leap. Look at that. Zola goes straight back to Peter Galanchi again. Luyc passes a bit short there, but he gets it. Luyc. Keep back here. Free around. Shovels ball in. Portugal have only one attempt each on goal on target. He's shot. The ball is there for the both players to go in fairly. Adam Soloway. Back to goal. Looking to turn Pepe. Semedo again. Shot on the turn. Time once more by Galanchi. Silva. Excellent feet. Close by. So no. Bruno Fernandes. Chance here. Great chance too for Bernardo. And the flag stayed down. Bernardo. In Budapest. At the break, it is Hungary nil, Portugal nil. Here in front as well. So let's hope that it's going to see some goals. Three contenders in this group. Goal kick was given, but Hungary have been boxed in here. Bernardo Silva. And a swinger. Met by Pepe. Well saved by Galanchi. Not for the first time in the game. Ruben Dias. Adam Soloway. Hits one. The rest, Avery, Patricio and the Portuguese goal. Yeah, well, he finds himself in the position to have a strike. A 60-odd thousand in here behind him today. And a shot up. Schaefer. Semedo with the tackle. Soloway. Is a throw in. Adam Soloway. Came off the pandas. Semedo. A bit winded, Cavani. Bernardo pokes off a shot up. Guerrero. Ruben Dias to all. Schaefer. Off Cavani. It's a goal kick. Got beyond Fiola. Fernandes with the corner. Ruben Dias has stayed forward. To the Chavoy. Went up with him. Last touch deemed to come off the Portuguese man. He played by shot and. Bruno Fernandes. Not too far away. Big game. A must win now. Chavoy. Just got something on that. Looking to help it towards goal. Offside. 3-4. Very good saves there. Rafa still. Brecic. Soloway with it. Neutsch. By Klein-Heichler. Excellent feed by Chavoy. And he's been fouled by Pepe. Very quiet second half. But Ronaldo here may have a chance. A cross came for Jover. Ronaldo convinced there. A hand was involved. Referee will have a look at it. Two champions league qualifiers last year. Here's the free kick. That could stay down. Schoen. Oh it's in. It's squeezed in. From Savard-Schoen. But no. Rafa Silva. But a fact. He's offside. Well offside as well actually. He's Schoen again. Can't get past Rafa Silva. Deflection. Goal. Portugal take the lead. Rafael. They have finally found a way through. The reigning champions with the first goal of their Euros defence. A huge stroke of fortune about it. Oh no. Rafa Silva. He's got away. Greatest goal scorer in the history of the European Championship Finals. And Cristiano Ronaldo has scored now in a tenth. When he looks at it he'll be disappointed he never scored. But again. Not a starter nowadays but a leader. Ronaldo. Rafa Silva. Ronaldo. It's 1-4. It's absolutely sensational for Portugal. Ronaldo scores again. The passing. The twinkle toes. It was perfection. Portugal at their very best. And they lead by three. Years ago. But they went all the way to win the title.
