Hello everyone and welcome to my channel, today I'm coming with 3 super easy home decor
projects.
All of them are bohemian style which I love so much for its simplicity and neutral colours.
All the items I'm making are inspired by the products I found in online shops, so making
them yourself is saving a bit of money and mostly you got all the joy when you create
them which can't be bought at any price.
But before we start, please click the subscribe button to help me and this channel grow and
my head is full of ideas which I want to share with you.
But for now, let's start with the first project.
I'm starting with creating a template of palm leaves.
You can skip this step and roll your leaves straight on the brown paper, but I'm going
to create few of these leaves and I want them to have the same shape.
So take 4 pieces of A4 paper and tape them together to create bigger piece.
Now draw half of the palm leaf shape.
I don't really have any set rule for that, it just have to be curved on the top and straight
line on the bottom.
I'm only draw half shape because now I'm going to fold the paper in half and cut it out.
That makes your leaf symmetrical.
Place your template on brown kraft paper and repol the shape using pencil.
Cut the shape out.
Take your leaf and fold it in half.
Starting from the center, start folding the paper to make an accordion.
And do the same with other half of your leaf.
Now place the dowel in bottom section, try to put it in the middle.
Take the tape and attach dowel to your leaf.
Tape it around few times to make sure it stay securely in place.
To cover the tape, take small piece of brown paper.
Using brush, apply glue on the paper and wrap it around the dowel.
So I've cut out another shape and this time I want it to have deep edges.
To do it, simply cut little notch all around the palm edge.
And then attach the dowel same way like the previous one.
I really like the look of them.
You can put them to the vase and keep it on the floor or table.
Looking great on white background.
This project is very easy.
All you need is condou, glue, cardboard core from tape, make sure your condou fits into them, brush and crafting rope.
Apply the glue on cardboard.
You can also use hot glue gun but I found it sometimes quite messy so I'm using normal glue which is a bit easier to work with.
Go around with your rope.
I recommend put a glue on small part, place the rope, hold it for a while and then continue.
I found some small clumps at home so I've decided to use them to make the process quicker.
But they are not necessary.
Go around with your rope until you reach the other edge.
Cut off the spare rope.
Place your condou inside and your holder is ready.
How easy and effective is that?
I've also made another one using thinner rope.
For your plan hangar all you need is cotton rope, wooden circle ring and scissors.
Cut 4 pieces of rope, each 250 cm long.
Take all 4 ends of rope, put them together and fold them in half.
Take your wooden ring and using large head knot attach your rope to the ring.
Divide your strings into pairs.
Take first pair and simply tie the knot.
Do the same with other pairs making sure they are at the same length.
Going a bit lower take two adjacent knots and one cord from this knot and simply tie them together.
Now take the string from both sides and tie them together as well.
Moving a bit lower repeat the process.
Ok, so now it's time to collect all of the loose ropes and tie them together.
Place your favourite plan inside and it's all ready.
This plan hangar is one of the easiest one you can make.
You don't need any macramé knot skills to do it.
I will make video in the future to show you how to make more difficult plan hangar.
So there we go, our 3 beautiful floral style home decoration.
Let me know in comments down below which one is your favourite one and if you're going to try any of them.
