Latvia - Serbia Basketball Highlights - FIBAWC 2023 Qualifiers

Serbia the world number six, a two-time world champion the favourites but Latvia with this loud and passionate home crowd on their side. Nemanja Bjelica handing it off for Trushev handing it back for the deep three how about that as a way to get going. Latvia the second best three-point shooting team in these European qualifiers only one of six so far. David Ovec now here's Marinkovic plenty of pace and movement and persistence from Marinkovic. Lejmanis who sparked the positive start from Latvia giving Lejmanis a helping bump out of bounds and that was the preview. Dyrus's turn to fire the three and there's the rebound and the stick back from Klavs Cavers and they'll recover the loose ball and that time the triple goes. Shot clock turned off six to shoot for Serbia looking for their largest lead of the game and Avramovic had to be the man to provide it. 16 first half points for Aleksa Avramovic. Dyrus far side to Kurets pulls the trigger early and hits the target. Kurets for three bang Riga roars again what a sequence of play just listen to this crowd how about that unlimited range only one of six tonight until that one perhaps closer to center court than he was to the perimeter had he hit the target again Serbia have to go to work sooner rather than later and they do that on the interior with Ristic open three well short offensive rebound and Todorovic can't score from close range Latvia looking to seal it in style. Davidovic passes out of the double team three-point shot they're gonna have to light it up from long range now as Dejan Todorovic scores one more attack for Serbia Marinkovic put in by Ristic five seconds to play here's the margin with five seconds to play Darvis misses the final shot but the Latvia dream is very much alive
