PEACEFUL CREEKSIDE CABIN w/ HOT TUB! (Waterfront Cabin Airbnb Tour)

I think I may have just discovered the most peaceful little cabin tucked away in the woods. Today, we are back at Shack Up Cabins at their original cabin, about one hour outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Guys, there is a babbling brook, quite literally right outside of the door to this place. There's also a wood-powered hot tub and a seemingly unlimited supply of firewood. I think these guys have enough firewood to power like 10 cabins. I've never seen so much before. This cabin is also surrounded on all sides by this endless deck, and there is a 100-foot-long boardwalk, not to mention even the incredibly cozy interior. So we have a lot to cover. Let's now go and start the full tour. Here we are. Welcome back to Nova Scotia and to another Shack Up Cabin. We'll start by walking down the boardwalk, and you can see there are three separate buildings, and this is your view as soon as you first round the corner. We'll begin on the exterior of the main building, which is the cabin shown here. I'll walk on over a little further, and the cabin is quite tall. There are some very high vaulted ceilings inside, which we'll see a little later. It's two stories on the interior, but from the outside, it looks like it could be almost three stories. I also really loved all of the yellow trim on all of the windows. It really just makes the siding and the color scheme pop on the exterior. You can see a lot more of the yellow trim from this angle with the drone. I'll now take the camera and pan more to the right because I want to first check out those two smaller structures that we saw earlier before we go to the cabin. This is the one closest to the boardwalk as soon as you walk in. They're in the top left, and this is your bathroom. Let's now head into the bathroom. There is a lot of natural light streaming in. You can see your toilet and a bunch of towels straight ahead. And then on the right, this is your shower. It is covered head to toe in some gorgeous white subway tiles. And last but not least, you can find your counter and a square bathroom sink. I'll exit the bathroom and keep walking down the 360 degree deck. I'm now there in the top right-hand corner heading to that other building. You can probably already see where I'm going with this. If you saw the last video at their A-frame, you know these guys really pack a serious punch when it comes to their firewood. I mean, just look at this supply. And this is only about half of it. Looking the opposite way, there's more wood there on the left, and this is a gigantic pile further into the property. I had to, of course, climb on top to give you a little size comparison and to just look like an idiot. But yeah, trust me, you have plenty of firewood here. You will not run out. Now, onto the last part of the exterior, and my personal favorite. I'm going to walk down this path, and this will lead to your wood-powered hot tub. Just look at how serene this setting is. This was taken around sunrise, and the sun is cast perfectly right onto this area. I mean, just the lighting, the location, the river and the cabin there in the background. I would honestly book this spot just for the hot tub. You can, again, see the little babbling brook here, and the cabin is right there next to it. That is how close you are to the water. Finally, this is what the surrounding area looks like. We are in a town called La Habe, Nova Scotia, about one hour from Halifax. And right down the road is the same owner's A-frame, link down in the video description to watch that video. But that will do it for everything on the exterior and the surrounding area here at the shack of cabin. So I'm now gonna open up the main entry door, and it's time to go and see what the interior has to offer. When you first enter, you'll find your super cozy living room there on the right side. And you can't have a cozy cabin living room without a wood stove. So I'll get this one going. All of the wood and fire-starting supplies were already inside of the stove. I just had to use a lighter. So these hosts are definitely very experienced and know what they're doing. We have these two comfortable chairs right next to this table. So you can sit here in your living room and take in the sound of the babbling brook and to just enjoy your wood stove. I'll now look to the left behind those two chairs, and you can find a record player back here. It had a nice collection. And I mean, what could be more perfect than hanging out on this comfy L-shaped couch, listening to some old school records and the sound of the babbling brook just outside your door, while also maybe reading a book right next to your wood stove. I think this is what cabin lovers dream about. To wrap up in the living room, right next to your wood stove, you can find a bunch of different board games and a few books that you can enjoy next to your fire. Let's now continue on to the kitchen, which is right behind the living room. The kitchen has all of the basic essentials that you need. And I loved this beautiful table built right into the wall with four stools. There's also an old school looking oven and stovetop. And if we pan to the right, you'll see a white tile backsplash, a large kitchen sink, and your fridge and freezer. We'll now begin to slowly go up to the top floor. So right next to the kitchen, you can find this stunning wood staircase. I'll begin to go up and I really loved this circular window. I think it's definitely one of the highlights of this ground floor. But I'll now round the corner and walk up these final steps. And it's time to go and see what is on the second floor. The second floor has a full height loft and your bedroom. I especially really liked this cool curved branch seen behind me here while I'm relaxing in this chair. If you look into the top left, you can see one of the skylights, which lets in a ton of light into this room. We have a queen mattress up here. And of course, you know I love my big windows. So I was a huge fan of that entire wall of windows at the far end. Thanks for watching guys. The link to book this place will be down in the video description.
