Highlights: Feyenoord - FC Groningen | Eredivisie 2022/2023

The game is on Match number 24 for both teams Feyenoord saw AZ win yesterday Away at Vitesse He has a two-point lead over Alkmaar Ajax plays tomorrow at 4:30 against NEC PSV is also playing at half past two Against RKC The Groningers will look at the results from Volendam Emmen Keep an eye on Excelsior and Cambuur The Groningers won again last weekend That was a while back The first victory since October 23 2002 The same eleven as last Wednesday in Heerenveen when the cup was won With three players in the preliminary selection of Ronald Koeman Hartman is among them Wiever is in it and Geert Ruijden is in it The formation of Groningen Will it be Catenaccio or not With the first starting position for Willems It is clear that Groningen has won the toss Because we are going to play with Manu A former Feyenoord player And Mette who played as a left-back But yes now that Willems is there Mette can play a bit more forward Boksell Boker Willems Does he have a good eye for Manu Then Wellerhuijter comes and he also has some luck He probably doesn't touch it Otherwise Wellerhuijter has been seen The recent endeavor is going well for the Feyenoord goalkeeper Idrissi Deurossen Pedersen The sliding has begun And then that leads to a goal and Groningen is out Is this Manu approached Yes the signal is weak say And that is when Wellerhuijter gives up at the moment the demand is there and not good Now we may save to intervene Now Max going back to Pedersen could work That would give him a hard time after Pedersen Willems on behalf of FC Groningen Van Hansko Yes it's nice to work with Pedersen Hansko moves on immediately Ook Idrissi goes inside No they didn't do everything right but will I end up with Hansko as well And that's with two forces that they get him out of Groningen They rush forward Corner van Kutu Hansko Place the Hansko Kobam who didn't go Idrissi Quickly passed to Jeroen Doest They have to bring Hansko to court Jeroen Doest has joined the table Well the duel where Hansko comes in Jeroen Doest is trying to get in as well He grabs his shirt sleeve with his left hand And then it's indeed the end of the match First a forced change at Groningen Tom van Bergen That little ball of Idrissi towards Kutu She must give everything to keep the ball in the team That suits them well Pedersen is turning This is Jahan Baks Jahan Baks Shot Murdered They bring them back again In the back Idrissi Oh that's much longer really Jahan Baks against direction Jiménez It's similar to Boks right Boxes in the short corner Then Rips is well positioned A good chance for Jahan Bakh to score It does happen you know Once when I hit a player who was lying on the ground I had no idea that was a deliberate move in the game It's more of an awkwardness Still they give yellow for Merten But yes it's already yellow and is therefore very much in need of attention He got a yellow card for time-wasting at the end of the first half Extra time And now he kicks the ball into the face of a Feyenoord player who was lying on the ground That was the second yellow card And so red for Merten Groningen with Tieman Verhoeven Two times yellow Merten It's not that Feyenoord is playing very well against the team that plays with Tieman The cup against NEC was still troublesome The Nijmegen players managed to score twice with a man down And here is Pepi who sat next to her Yes to Baks To Baks now He's still going through it Swallowed it before they did Zielanski and Danilo The falling Van Bergen Yes exactly That smells like Feyenoord The falling of Van Bergen causes Danilo to end up in his balance Well Idrissi Over van Gelderen Idrissi En Verlips with a great save Great reaction difficult spot Zielanski Idrissi Zielanski pushes you in the back No says Kooi No penalty spot Idrissi Skuksu Kutsu The boss is good Jiménez and then this Oh the chance for Danilo Jiménez to Danilo Where Danilo went to Jiménez last Wednesday Opening battle Push Door panels back Danilo The ribs well Danilo Boujoude then finally Jiménez Through the busy center Boujoude Idrissi Then that's it Yes Zielanski Groningen isn't necessarily chasing the equalizers Because he's running Then the game is over He is the matchwinner Idrissi 1-0 Are you having a bad day I've had quite a few balls to deal with I hit them all on the forehead It's not that bad But I've gotten rid of a lot of balls He will see many head-to-head matches won They shot a lot long Then I have to go to the side where the ball comes I've won quite a few duels there Just about the match It was a fierce FC Groningen They did everything possible to get a grip here How do you experience that in the flesh They were really focused on it A lot of long balls We made it difficult for ourselves because were very careless with the ball We didn't get into a good rhythm We couldn't maintain the pressure But ultimately we played three games in six days In this case it's not always about how the game is but about the result Of course you want to play better and have it be easier But everyone is now satisfied It wasn't an easy game We didn't score in the first half It was still 0-0 We must be careful with our seat security In every seat against us But what the coaches also said during the half was that we have to keep going Of course we are fine Our chances will come It's coming again a few minutes before the end These are three important points
