TRAE YOUNG Reacts TO GRAYSON ALLENS DIRTY PLAY! JA MORANT Was FURIOUS Post-Game

John Morant, Trey Young, very high-key, high-profile players. I mean, these guys are absolutely filthy with the basketball in their hands. And they are both players that have never been to the playoffs. Now, it's very early in both of their careers, and they're going to be playing in many meaningful basketball games the longer they play basketball. Unbelievable talents, both on young teams that have very promising futures. And also currently, both players that were frustrated with the events that happened in last night's game. Now, both of these players were frustrated for very different reasons. And basketball is an emotional game. Frustration and things like that happen. I want to speak on Trey Young's frustration first. Just touch on it a little bit. And Trey Young was frustrated because of Grayson Allen. Now, if you don't know who Grayson Allen is, this is somebody that has had a history of questionable, very questionable events. Some people would flat out call Grayson Allen a dirty player. Me? I'm going to let you guys be the judge of that. Now, before we go any further, be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications. You will not want to miss another Get Like Coop video. And that's facts. If you guys enjoy my content, you'll probably enjoy my stream. So be sure to check out my streams. The link will be in the description below. Also in that same description, you'll find the link to my Twitter and my NFL channel. If you are interested in either of those, be sure to check it out. Now, the first topic I truly want to get into is John Morant and his frustration. Earlier in the video, I told you guys, the Hawks won the game. Trey Young shot 17 free throws. He had 36. He had a heavy 36. He was hooping all game, but there's no way around it. 17 free throws for any player is a lot. Since I know there's probably a good bit of you that did not watch the game, you missed this epic point guard matchup, which I advise you to actually watch next time. I'm going to show you guys some of the fouls that Trey Young was getting. Now, when I play this job video, this job video, I'm not sure, has anything to do with Trey Young. So don't take this as Trey Young and job beefing. No, this is not what that is about. The reason I'm playing this Trey Young video is because I really do feel like the NBA does cater to shooters. You won't see LeBron James get a lot of the calls that Steph has gotten in the past. And it's been the same with Shaq. It's been the same with a lot of other big guys and slashers. I mean, truly, if you watch LeBron play, this guy gets fouled almost every single play, every single play. And whether it gets called or not, truly does feel like RNG. Somewhere along the lines in the NBA, selling fouls has became a skill. Harden is one of the best at drawing fouls, but also selling the contact. Now, of course, this isn't me saying Harden doesn't get fouled because he gets fouled a ton. A lot of the calls that Harden gets are very legit. He just knows how to create contact and sell it. This is probably out of left field for you guys, especially because this isn't stuff that I normally say, but I definitely do feel like superstar, not even superstar, preferential ref treatment is most definitely a thing in the NBA. I've watched Drew Holiday for years. This guy simply doesn't get the call that a lot of other average players get. Let me know if you guys know any other players that have that same problem. So I'm going to go ahead and let's just roll this Ja Morant clip. Now again, Ja has every right to be mad. You just got to keep playing all four quarters. John Coleman. Ja, tonight it seemed like there was an opportunity to get into the paint, like you had six in the fourth quarter against the Spurs. It seemed like life was a little bit tougher this time around. Was there anything they did to prevent looks at the rim or were the looks just not there like they were last game? No, it's just, you know, a lot of contact down there, which resulted in me being off balance when I shoot. So I missed a shot. As you see, I got a tech. That's what I got to do to get calls in. Oh, well, it's my second year. I let a lot of stuff slide, but I'm not going for that no more. Everybody who knows me know I'm always smiling, laughing, and you know, when somebody get fed up, that's what happens. Ja doesn't strike me as somebody that complains a lot. So when he complains or he has a problem with something, I'm going to listen. You know, come to think of it, I don't think Derek Rose really got a lot of ref love in his career either, which is really unfortunate. So I really hope Ja doesn't end up being one of those guys that the refs swallow the whistle for. When it comes to officiating, I'm not sure fans really care how good or bad refs are anymore. All we want right now is consistency. If you're going to make a call on one end, just make sure you come down and make it on the other. So now we have to talk about this entire Grayson Allen thing, which kind of started because Grayson Allen kind of lunges at Trey Young's ankle, foot, general ankle area, foot area. It was a weird action. I'm not going to say it was intentional. I'm going to let you guys be the judge. Trey Young did not like this. He took to Twitter. He said, tell me what y'all see. This has to stop. Now, if Grayson was truly trying to injure Trey, step on his ankle, step on his foot. It's not the first time we've seen things like this done. If Grayson really was trying to hurt Trey, there's just no place in the game for stuff like this. I also find it funny that a lot of times the questionable stuff happens. It's typically the same people we're always questioning. Grayson Allen saw this. He said, that must've really hurt. I'm sorry. I hope you're okay. Now Trey and Grayson don't like each other. These two definitely have a history. Jaron Jackson saw Trey's tweet. He put the cap emoji and then he put, I got your back and you got mine. Very noble of Jackson, at least the mentality, not necessarily the actions. For Jackson to say cap to Trey Young, I really hope he feels like Grayson didn't do anything wrong. I'm with having people's back, but when people are wiling and doing dumb stuff, then they're wiling and doing dumb stuff. I'm not necessarily going to support it. But of course, I mean, naturally, Jaron Jackson has always struck me as a smart guy, an incredibly cerebral player. So if he puts cap, I'm just going to say he really felt like Grayson Allen didn't have any bad intentions on that play. In the comments below, please let me know what you guys think about this entire situation. And for those of you that missed this game, I strongly recommend you guys start catching some of these marquee matchups. Trey versus Ja is pure basketball. It literally does not get much better than that. Also, if you're just not watching Atlanta basketball right now, Trey is worth the price of admission. The Hawks are going to shock some people. They're missing like six, seven, eight players. They're missing a lot of players. And these guys that they're missing should be playing solid minutes for them. Don't sleep on the Atlanta Hawks. I'm definitely going to have a Trey Young, Atlanta Hawks breakdown coming soon. And shout out to Cam Reddish. I love watching that guy hoop. Anthony Edwards already knows what's up. Clicking the video on the screen right now is a great way to support my channel. I'm Get Like Coop, bringing you guys the scoop. Until our next video.
