(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Brentford - Leicester

Expectations and ambitions have shifted significantly for these two sides since they met on the opening day. There's Barnes from Tewsbury Hall, that was the intention and he is quickly back to his feet to try and bend one in and it did not miss by much. And Leicester just showing signs in the last few minutes that they're growing into the game and they have it here with Tete. He does have support from Ricardo, he's the one that delivers the cross. It was a very deliberate attempt. Touch for Tony, there's Henry. And Bermot in space, he's spotted him. Brian and Bermot is able to bring it down, not quite, find the finish. Really good effort. They've crowded the six-yard box. Brian and Bermot trying something a little bit different, looking for Damsgardt. Seeing one up for Rico, Henry and Bermot in all sorts of space. Nobody could quite apply the finish, this time they can. Pressure, Havertz, here's Jensen with another goal here. Four in five at home for the B's. Real conversation with the referee. Well, everybody thinks he's coming in first time, he doesn't. They play it across the line, there's the ball played in. Well, this will be interesting. Played back in there. I don't think it takes a deflection as well. They're still checking it. Peter Banks is the video assistant referee, he's just been having a look at this, the possible offsides. Neatly done by Damsgardt, but couldn't quite pick the pass for M. Bermot. Here's Dewsbury Hall. Maddison, slipping it through. Harvey Barnes is in. That's the city. Maddison to Barnes, and he joins his teammate on nine goals for the Premier League season. Such an important goal for Brendan Rodgers and Leicester. Look at what he does here. He's on the ball, he could have gone down there, he doesn't. He plays it into Maddison. Maddison plays a beauty through to Barnes. It's a wonderful finish, but all starts with Dewsbury Hall. Did all the hard work there. Could have gone down, stayed on his feet. Lovely slid pass, and dinks it over the keeper beautifully. Point wouldn't quite be enough for top six today. It would take them level with Liverpool and Brighton, who are not in action. That's a painful one. This is going to be red. The second yellow card is out. Oh, nasty. Right over the top. Just takes him out. Look at the referee's position. Yards away from it. And it goes just over the head of Ben Mee. Again, it was Souto that rose to meet it. It's going to be the last action of the game, so a little bit of respite.
