TOP American League MVP candidates for the 2023 season! (Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge and MORE!)

Great to have you with us tonight. Underway in Arlington. Shohei takes the first pitch and sends it deep to right field. Garcia drifting and it's gone! Don't blink. 1-0 Halos as Shohei Ohtani jumps Matt Bush on the very first pitch of the night. The 1-2. It does it! Strikeout, special delivery for Ohtani. Modest Hashim. Ohtani has never hit it. Second of the night for Shohei Ohtani. Shohei, the money. Red Slam. 0-2. For Ohtani. The 2-2 to Shohei Ohtani. We are tied up his second three-run jack of the night. And the 1-2. There's his walk-off home run. And the Yankees have come back to win it. 6-5. Lofted into center field. Coming on is Judge. Dives! And makes the play! He took a hit away from Senzel. That one's drilled deep to left field. Looking up. A dramatic come from behind. The Yankees split four with the Astros. High fly ball. Right field and deep. Going back, Judge. He's on the track. He's at the wall. He leaps! And he makes the play! Oh, what a play by Aaron Judge! What a highlight reel he's putting together this year. Trout sends the ball. Well hit out to right center field. That one's got a chance! He got it! That is huge. Halo's up by two. High pitch inning for Detmers. And that ball is hit well. Center field. Mike Trout leaping up. Mike Trout brought it back! Robbing a three-run home run. Mike Trout playing some outstanding defense this season. And Mike Trout crushes that baseball. We are scoreless no more. Another home run. Solo shot for Mike Trout. 1-0 Halos. Oh, he got a hold of that one. Well hit to left. And Mike Trout is home fit straight! Get almost knocked down. And Trout to deep left. Headed towards the Crawford boxes. And gone. Mike Trout with a three-run home run. And he's now homered in six straight games. Driven to center field. Mike Trout hit it well. Looking to tie this up. He does! Seven straight games with a home run for the kid, Mike Trout. Hammered. Blast off. Left field. Number one! Here it comes! And the 21-year-old will touch them all for the first time. It comes in Miami. Julio. Blast this out to center. This is driven back by the wall! And slam! Talk to you about hitting the courses. Harrison gets jammed. Shallow and Julio is able. No fly in effect. Julio. Left center field! This is gone! First time since 2002! There's a Mariner in the 2020 club! Julio taking off. Gets a big jump. A head-long slide! And Julio is safe! And with that bag, Julio becomes only the third rookie in Major League history with a 25-homer, 25-stolen-base season. Mount Davis did not exist. Oh, my goodness! This is crushed way up there towards Mount Davis. Off the facade of the second deck. Yordan Alvarez sends this one out. Maybe his longest home run of his career. Oh, my goodness. 4-6-9. And that feels short. Yordan tries one! Deep right field! An explosion off his bat! Sets off the Fourth of July celebration. Astros' biggest come-from-behind victory of the season. And they win it 7-6. Alvarez launches! Deep right field! Alvarez, a three-run walk-off home run at a no-doubter.
