Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon. That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how I travel the world continuously.
You got pretty high, eh?
You've been going up for about 15 minutes.
Oh my god, you've got to come down again.
Every time you get to the top of it, it's a little bit further.
Now I'm terrified.
If you saw my last video,
you might have noticed that I ruined a lot of my clothes.
Now don't get me wrong, that was completely worth it.
But it does mean
that I need some new clothes.
So luckily, Lucropa have stepped up
to fit me out with a new wardrobe.
Check it out!
Not bad.
And I've actually got quite a few more pieces as well.
Okay, but I need a jacket.
Right, yeah, that'll do.
Let's go.
Now some of you might know this already,
but once I like some clothing, I tend to wear it a lot.
And I've already worn these through Barcelona,
Armenia, and now Bucharest,
where I am now.
But I'll get to those videos in the future.
All I can say for now is to check out the website
in the description below for a huge range of clothing,
and use my code for 15% off.
There's a car coming.
Huge thank you to Luc for sponsoring this video,
and now let's get back to Andorra.
Welcome to Andorra.
Country number 70,
for me, I think.
We were just a few hours away
in the Harrow wine fight,
the video before this, and decided,
well, why not come across to Andorra
for a couple days and tick off
a new country. I'm here with my mum
as well.
Someone said to me the other day, I said I was going to Andorra,
and they said, is it a city or a country?
Well, it's pretty much both.
It's like the size of a city
is a really, really small country.
I think the population is 70,000,
and it's right between Spain
and France. It's mostly a skiing
place, I think, but we're going to try and see what there is to do
in the summer.
One of the cool things to do here is there's the
world's longest toboggan
ride, and we just
tried to get there, but it's right
up on this hill, and
there's not much public transport available.
If you're driving, it's really easy,
but if you're on public transport,
there's only a couple buses a day
that go up and a couple buses down,
so we just missed one that was meant to be here at 10.
The next one's not till 2,
and then
the next bus down is at 6.
So that would mean we were waiting for 8
hours to do this 10-minute toboggan ride.
But it does look
really cool, so we might try and do it
tomorrow instead. It's the morning after.
We're back at the bus stop.
We've got about 20 minutes to 10. We're going to make
it this time. Take 2.
We're finally going to make it, then.
Day 2. How exciting.
I hope it's worth it.
All right, this is it.
That's what we're doing.
We've arrived. This is the queue,
and we were told
or I read online to get here as early as
possible because apparently the queue gets pretty
big later on. It opens at 10,
and obviously we tried yesterday to get up here,
but now we are here. It's the longest toboggan
ride in the world. I think it lasts
about 15 minutes.
It says no bags.
Yeah, I know. There's lockers in there.
There's no bags and no big cameras.
It also says there's no cameras at all, so I've got to put this
in the locker and probably sneak a go for it.
Oh, beautiful.
We're on the way up now.
This part's automatic, but then when we get
to the top, then we can use the brakes
and go as fast down as we want.
I'm going to have to do this filming really slightly.
How are you feeling? A little bit nervous.
I'm terrified of heights, so this is
feel the fear and do it anyway. But hey,
I'm going to enjoy it.
You got pretty high, eh?
We've been going up for about 15 minutes.
You've got to come down again.
Every time you get to the top of it, it's a little bit further.
Now I'm terrified.
I didn't want to go in the front. I had no choice.
Right, well, the actual ride
was great.
It was actually really long
down. It felt really fast
when you're going around the corners.
Unfortunately, you have to keep a distance from the person in front of you.
Wait, there's a more
important thing. My GoPro just fell out
my pocket. Halfway down.
I was filming with it and putting it back in my
pocket and it fell out.
I don't know if I'm going to have any footage to show you because
we have to leave before they can go and
collect it. I can't
get it back before leaving. I've given them my
details, so hopefully I can manage to get it sent on
or something.
I don't know. I guess you all know, depending on
if you've just seen any footage.
The other thing I was going to say is you have to
slow down
to stop
yourselves hitting the person in front.
We had to keep slowing down
because the person in front of us was really slow.
We didn't get the full experience, but
the beginning bit where you're going down really quickly
was great. So what did you think?
Amazing. I loved it.
Not as scary as I thought
and the scenery was fantastic.
The only thing, if you do it, is try not to
get behind someone, maybe a family
because they slow down, which means you've got to
slow down. But yeah, it was awesome.
Yeah, the first half was good. The second half
was slow. Well, we have
two hours to kill until
the next bus back down.
So rather than just waiting around, we decided to go
for a bit of a walk.
This is our last day in Andorra, by the way.
We're leaving for Barcelona
tonight. My mum then flies
in the morning and
I'm off on the next trip
as well. Yeah, it's been
a short but
sweet trip to Andorra.
I think there's
actually quite a lot to do for a really
small country. You could
do quite a lot here. There's loads of
hikes and
mountain biking
and the summer adventure activities.
And then in the winter
they have the skiing and snowboarding
and it just kind of feels like a
massive ski village anyway.
But I think it turns into a giant
ski town.
Pretty good views.
That's it.
We're on the way back down now.
Back to Andorra la Vella, the main
part of town. Then we're leaving in a few hours.
We're on the way back down now.
We're on the bus and we are
the only people on the bus.
And on the way up we were the only people
plus two workers.
I don't think this is a very popular way of getting up there.
I think most people just drive.
Actually, Andorra is one of the only countries
in the world without an airport.
So to come here
most people will just drive.
You can get buses here from
Barcelona and parts of Spain
but as we found getting here is kind of difficult.
So I think
there's not much public transport. It's more
of a driving place.
Okay, I don't have my proper camera.
We were just out tonight for dinner
and found out that Cirque du Soleil
are playing here in Andorra right now.
And we can go and see it for free.
So we just
found tickets last minute. You can go and watch
Cirque du Soleil with a standing
ticket in Andorra
completely for free.
Barcelona now. We got a BlaBla
car here late last night, which by the way, check it out
is really useful. You basically just ride
here on long journeys.
But I don't think it's loud.
Always so loud whenever I start
filming. But I'm also about to say
goodbye to my mama.
Third day, third time to say goodbye.
Mum's flying out this
morning and then me in the morning.
But yeah, back in Barcelona.
I've had the most amazing ten days.
I'm going to find it hard to say goodbye today.
But until we meet in another destination...
It's until next time.
Until people see you again
on the videos. Yeah, and they will see me soon.
Maybe in the next three months I'll come find you.
Okay, I just said goodbye
to my mum and did the whole hug
and kiss and all that soppy stuff that
you guys don't want to see.
Anyway, that was great.
Awesome ten days spent with my mum.
And now, first impressions of Andorra.
So the main thing I heard
about Andorra before going there was
about the skiing. It's quite well
known as a ski place.
And I know people that have been there before for that.
But I didn't really know what to expect in the summer.
I found that it's
completely beautiful and
I could have spent longer than just a few days there
because it seems like there's quite a lot to do.
We didn't even get to do all of the
hiking trails around. There's
apparently a very good spa
scene there. One of the largest
thermal spas anywhere, I believe.
And there's a lot
more than I even put in this video.
It's a tax-free haven
and you can buy
lots of things really cheaply. I think a lot of people
come in from Spain and France to
buy things and then bring them back.
So yeah, I mean, as a
weekend destination, I think it's
definitely worth looking at
and I'm glad I got to go because it's one of those
little countries that people kind of forget
about and some people didn't even know
it was actually a country.
When I mentioned Andorra to people, they didn't
know where it was.
So I'm glad I went and if you are
in Spain or France, then
add it to your list and tick it off
because it'd be an easy one to skip.
But that's it for me. Thank you again
for watching and see you in the next video.
