We are in Alcatraz Island
It's the 30th of August and we are in the ferry that will take us to Alcatraz Island
It's over there
I think we will arrive in 10 minutes
Let's see how it is
We have slept only 5 hours, right now you can't see the dream anymore
But I think that during the hours of the day it will be easier
It's next to the jail, if someone escapes they will be the first
This is the area where the prisoners were welcomed
They were given a shower so they would be clean from all the parasites
And then they were given their prisoner suit
And their make-up, I guess
Ah, to shave them
A very welcoming community shower, with personalized pills
I want to ---- in the corner
The prison cell area
It's next to the prisoners' cell
I hope they don't have us
I've been in hotels that had the dirtiest mattress I've ever seen
And this one is clean
Not like the objective
All this corridor was called Broadway
Because it was where the prisoners were brought in
And they were given a kind of welcome walk
You can imagine how they were welcomed, not very amicably
This was the courtyard
And when a prisoner fought with each other, or attacked an officer
Or did something that was against the rules
They were put in isolation cells
Where they were all day long
And I think the maximum was 19 days
In total darkness
I guess you can't see anything here
But at least you can see the people inside
And the darkness was so intense
They were in here all day without any light
That the prisoners went crazy
And some of them were pulling buttons from their pajamas
And they threw it in the dark
To play and look for it on the floor
So they could distract themselves
To try not to go crazy, to be all day in the dark
This is the prison library
Where they could ask for books
So they could read them in the cells
In fact, there was so much free time here
That the prisoners even had races
There were those who took the right race
During the years that the prison was open
There were many attempts to escape
One of these bars that deformed the bars
They only put this in
And then they turned it to open it
So they could escape
And that's what happened
In the last escape, the most important one
The one in Alcatraz
It was because the current took them
They tried to go in rafts made by themselves
Made of waterproof and waterproof
And they never found them
When they escaped in 1962
The three prisoners used
Some of them worked in the laundry
Others in carpentry
They created some heads of stone cardboard
To look like they were sleeping
And they used the breaks
To dig a tunnel
Inside the ventilation hole
With a spoon
And with that they escaped
To the intermediate zone of the cells
Where all the pipes are
This is the back of the cell
This is where they were escaping
They were climbing
To the upper floor
And once they got there
They reached the ceiling
Where they managed to escape
And as I said before
They made a manual raft
To escape to the bay
Shortly after that escape
It wasn't because of the escape
There's more
It wasn't because of the escape
It was because the prison was very expensive
There were no drainage systems
And on top of the coffins
It was getting old
And it wasn't as good as in the beginning
This is the souvenirs zone
They have books
This is one of Hugo's prisoners
This is Robert Luke
He's a bit older
But here he's signing books non-stop
I know he's making money
Because the line doesn't end
It's been a while and people don't stop
We're done with Alcatraz
It's very nice
It's worth the visit
This is our...
Here's our ferry
And we're going back
To San Francisco
To continue the day
I'll do the tree
To Moorwoods, a national park
It's amazing because it's full of
Giant sequoias like this
Between 700 and 1000 years old
And this is full of them
Between 700 and 1000 years old
And they're the tallest in the world
In fact
We arrived very late
Just before dark
And here's the trunk of a cut tree
Where you can see
How the years have passed
And each line is a year
I don't know if you can see it
Each line is a year
The trees have even some holes here
A giant entrance
And it's full of sequoias
So you have to see some
Let's see if you can see it better
Dude, my GoPro can get wet
No
Mosquitoes, mosquitoes
Mosquitoes, dude, mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are biting me
I have to start again
Put one of these plugs
I've already crossed a lot
I've crossed the water part
It's always on the screen
So, Moor World visited
But we didn't have time before dark
So I don't know if I'll tell you more
If not, I'll finish the vlog here
And tomorrow is the last day
We'll be back tomorrow
See you tomorrow
