What's up guys and welcome back to the vlog.
Like I said I'm starting the vlog again and this is about to be the first one of 2018.
It's also our first flight of 2018.
We're in London right now walking towards the gate because we're just about to fly to
Prague.
I can film you vlogging too.
Okay.
Wow, I have a hairstyle today, it's amazing.
Olivia's starting up her vlog now as well.
Yeah, I am.
I'll wait.
And this is filmed on my phone.
It works.
Hey guys, it's Prague on!
So Prague is a completely new city for both of us and Czech Republic is a new country
for me as well.
Never been there, heard some amazing things, so delighted that we can now go.
And it's the beginning of this big Euro adventure we've got for the next few weeks which is
going to be, I'll tell you, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki and then more of Finland
too.
It's really exciting.
And they're all new places for you, right?
Yes.
On to the flight.
Okay, let's go.
Let's go.
Welcome to Prague.
And I think Czech Republic is either country 57 or 58 or 59.
I need to check that and I'll let you know in the next country I go to but I'm pretty
sure it's one of those numbers.
Anyway, I need to head off and head to the hotel.
Okay, first hurdle is figuring out the bus.
90 minutes.
Okay, that's why I was pressing the wrong button.
Okay, so two adults for 90 minutes.
Pay by card.
Done.
Got them?
Nice.
Why?
No.
Well that was very easy.
Here we are.
Come in.
Little backpacker.
That's so much stuff.
What do you think?
It's okay.
Hello.
It's alright.
Pretty easy.
We just arrived to our little apartment.
It's proper budget really.
It's just that little mattress down there and a tiny kitchen.
And we have a kettle.
And a kettle for coffee.
That's all I need.
It's just for like two or three nights and pretty cheap.
So that's exactly what we wanted.
All we're doing right now is throwing down our stuff.
And then I think we're going to head straight out into the city.
Wow, right.
So we thought we were here and we were happy enough with that.
And Olivia said, what's behind this door?
And it turns out we have that.
Nice.
This is much better then.
We actually have a whole apartment.
Eighty euros I think for three nights.
So if you were splitting that between four people for three nights,
that would be very, very cheap.
But for us it's okay.
Ready?
Christmas again.
Yeah, I feel like we've done this video already.
We've just stumbled, we've been walking around
and stumbled upon a Christmas market in Prague in the square.
But we've already done Christmas market in Cluj, in Bucharest,
and now in Prague.
Amazing.
Perfect timing.
We actually had no plan for tonight at all.
We just sort of came out for a walk because that's what I like to do
and what Olivia likes to do when you first get to a place.
Get out and just explore and walk around without a plan.
But it has started raining a lot and we are very wet.
So we're going to try and either find somewhere to dip into
or head back to the room.
Let's find somewhere to get out of the rain.
Okay?
Okay.
We just decided to duck out of the rain
because we've been walking around for about half an hour.
So we've dropped in to get some local beer.
Do you like it?
Yeah, it's very good beer.
It's almost as big as your head.
This, my friends, is a pint.
Damn it.
And I'm going to finish it there.
A soft introduction to Prague.
We just went and walked around a bit.
Went to the main square around the old town.
Grabbed some food and a drink and that's about it.
And also a soft introduction to the first vlog of this year.
Anyway.
I'm excited to be back on the road.
I'm excited to be backpacking again.
Excited to be going all through Europe with Olivia.
And this is just the first stop.
And I wanted to keep this vlog nice and simple.
And that's why I'm going to finish it here
and start again with the next one tomorrow.
I'm going to get as much content as I can out for you guys
and show you all of what we're getting up to.
But for now, I'm going to leave it here and just say goodnight.
Welcome to The Life of George Season 2, I guess.
Episode 1.
Thank you for watching.
And this is my life.
