SPONTANEOUS VOLCANO ROAD TRIP

So who's idea was this anyway? Okay, sorry! Good morning and welcome back to manila. One sec, check out this view So good This is just a hostel i'm staying at in manila called zed hostel and it's got this rooftop bar Which isn't a view you normally get in a hostel Anyway There's a really good view up there at night, by the way, but right now it's really bright and really hot But i'll show the view later I'm, just going to do a bit of work Maybe for like an hour and then head out and explore some of manila Yeah, please Yeah, that's another thing that's cool That's how you pay for everything just load some money on it first swag I'm, actually just signing up for a stock footage site right now to sell my excess b-roll online Um, I don't know how profitable it will be but that was just one of the tips I got away from tbex So I thought try it out Film a bit. Well, you have to say hi What's up guys, so I just got here to intramuros And I say just got here. I've actually been in the car for the last two hours in traffic That happens Carice joey say hi Yeah, they just gave me a lift here I don't know from manila And actually we were introduced by cafe con leche abroad if you remember them Then they met them here in manila before I'm gonna have a look around So we actually only just stopped in intramuros for about 10 minutes, but if you want to see More of it then i've got an old video about that. We're heading now to somewhere else It's a little bit of a drive and i'll let you know where Into the journey so far and I think we're going to a place called taal volcano The plan just sort of sprung up halfway through the day and we're going to drive there and try and stay there tonight For the sunrise tomorrow so It's kind of evolving as we go, but i'll keep you updated if I need to say this happy birthday curious So they're just in there grabbing some food and snacks for the road um I realize I haven't really introduced either joey or carice yet, but it's carice's birthday. I know them before this Anyway, they're just a bit shy in front of camera Establishments now Okay So after about two and a half hours of driving we eventually made it to tagaytay Here's the place tagaytay i've never even really heard of it until tonight, but Let's explore anyway, it's kind of like being in an abandoned theme park This is about to be the first roller coaster i've ever been on at night in this pretty empty abandoned looking theme park Crazy Wow should I go in the front then I can't do that one. Okay too dangerous Not as scary as you thought What do you think of the roller coaster it's it's it's not that scary this is cool though Check it out. It's october 18th. I think it's christmas We just came to a restaurant quickly to try bulalo which is Beef bone marrow soup I've never tried it before i'm gonna check it out now Okay, so this is the really interesting bit This is the bone marrow so Bone marrow of a cow What do you just get it with rice, right? Do you want some you guys There you go, that's it It's nice, it's good It's now one in the morning and i've just been convinced to walk for an hour to starbucks It's so far And now she's the one complaining But we're almost there turning out to be an interesting night Right starbucks is closing Uh, we still got a few hours to kill until sunrise Not really sure what we're gonna do but See what happens Okay Okay, just got a tricycle back because we had no idea how far we walked Uh took quite a long time actually Turning out to be a bizarre night Now we've got back to the car and i'm not sure If we're locked in the car park or not So whose idea was this anyway Okay, sorry Nice kid He's waving you So, where is it there's a guard I thought like we were locked in or something Like I wanted to check Okay, so can he open it? Yeah later Okay So this is where We slept last night Um Just for a few hours just to wait for the sunrise which apparently Is meant to be pretty good The weather's not great. It's pretty cloudy. We're going to try and find somewhere for the best view for the sunrise All right. We're on the way down to another view And just saw this In a closed Starbucks parking lot where we were last night. So we're going to try and capture the view quickly. Okay. Have a look at this still though Starbucks with a view And now we're going to try and capture the volcano that we came here for So, what do you think worth it Well, because we've seen it like for so many times because i've been there like that's like another app Yeah, it's appreciated if you climbed it and you'd go up all right I want to go up No, no Right. Well, this is taal lake and that around there is taal volcano taal volcano and It's pretty cool It's a pretty nice lake I'm told there's usually like an epic sunrise as well But we got a bit unlucky with the weather because it's quite cloudy But still overall a random but funny trip And now I just need to make the two or so hour drive back to manila Finally 24 hours later back in z hostel And back in my dorm. I didn't actually stay here last night But I did stay in the night before and it was a pretty nice day I've actually got to check out now. I'm going to check out and check into somewhere else But i'll just leave you with saying that it was a really Unexpected night and an unexpected day But overall a pretty good one and doing something. I hadn't really heard of just outside of manila I'm, actually really tired now slept a bit in the car But now I need to get all my stuff together and move on to the next vlog which i'll be starting today Thank you for watching and this is my life
