Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. So today we have best and worst new beauty launches take
1 million i've lost count of how many of these i've done now
But i've been testing out a few new bits and I really wanted to talk to you about them as always
I'm going to get started with the best items that I have been testing out over the past few months
The thing that i've been enjoying using most over the past month has been the sunday riley ceo protect and repair moisturizer
This is not out in the uk yet
I think it is coming but this moisturizer is one of my favorite moisturizers that I have ever tried at the moment
It is beating tidal moisturizer by sunday riley for me. I have used quite a lot already
Um, i've just been absolutely obsessed with this stuff. I use it every single morning
It's a really plumping moisturizer and it has that
Anti-pollutant kind of factor to it and I just find it smells gorgeous
And that kind of burst of vitamin c really does help to perk your skin up in the morning
It is pricey, but for me, I do like to spend a little bit more on moisturizer
And I feel like I really do see the difference with this one
There are some moisturizers that I don't think are any better than lots of lower end ones
But this one is one of the ones I would 100% say is worth the splurge. I'm super super impressed with that
Next up is another new launch that I picked up in the states. It's out in the uk as well
Now it's the nars soft matte concealer in the shade light 2.5 creme brulee
And this is just a really wonderful matte creamy concealer. It's quite high coverage
It's not super super super high coverage
but the coverage of this is wonderful for me for dark under eye circles any redness this will just
Glaze over perfectly and it really just blends beautifully and just covers any discoloration and
I have used quite a lot of this again. There is like a hefty dent in this already
I actually used it in my emma watson makeup tutorial
Which i'll link in the info box if you want to go and watch that and it's just become a firm favorite of mine
Over the past couple of months whether i'm not wearing much makeup at all or doing a full face
I use this i'm kind of quite heavily reliant on this now
And then I have two new launches from dior that I have been absolutely
Obsessed with this month. The first one is a new lipstick launch from them
It's the dior addict lacquer stick and this is in the shade 344 rolling and it's a beautiful orangey peachy nude color
And i'm wearing it today if you wanted to see what it looks like. They're very glossy
Uh kind of creamy and really long-lasting at the same time
They have this really beautiful shine to them which I love but the long-lastingness of them is what really surprises you because obviously they are quite
Glossy and they just stick around and I really have enjoyed wearing that shade particularly over the past month
I know not everyone loves a luxury lipstick
But if you are looking to make a purchase anytime soon, I would definitely say to look at this range
Especially if you're not into matte stuff and you are into more glossy finishes
And the thing I really like about the dior addict lacquer sticks is also the names that they come with
So it's all very like LA vibes
So you have like west coast palm beach if you're wondering what i'm wearing in every single video that happens from now on
It will be one of these because the colors are just amazing and then we have the dior show pump and volume mascara
This mascara is incredible
I tried this for the first time last month in paris and I was absolutely blown away by how lengthening and
Volumizing it is and how easy it is to layer the mascara
It's quite a wet formula and that just allows you to keep layering and layering and layering and I really enjoyed using this
I'm not wearing it today annoyingly and my mascara is currently crumbling into my eyes
But that doesn't happen when I use this and I really like that as well
I also don't get too much smudging either which for a very wet mascara formula i'm really impressed with it
It's also worth mentioning that I am quite fussy with mascaras and I think there are a lot of drugstore mascaras
That do just as good a job as the high-end ones
But this is definitely one of the high-end ones I would say
It's worth the money and I've been really impressed by it
it also has this squeezy tube bit which no other mascaras at the moment have and it basically allows you to
Warm up the product by kind of squeezing the tube and that warming up also allows it to be more kind of wet
And flexible and build better on your eyelashes. So this is just a favorite of mine at the moment
I am obsessed with using it when I want really big dramatic lashes
Like I might just might just use a bit right now feel like I need it
So those are the latest launches that i've been loving and then i'm going to move on to some kind of in-betweeny
Launches. These are ones that i'm not obsessed with but I also don't think they're
Bad, they're just kind of that in the middle kind of product
The first one is one of Becca's new shimmering skin perfectors and this is a new shade called prismatic amethyst
It's a cool toned pinky lilac highlighter and it has this almost diamond effect in the middle
And this is one of those highlighters that I think doesn't work on every skin tone
And I think it takes a lot of work. It's not one of those everyday throw-on highlighters. It does give the most insane
Glow, but it's not quite right for everyday use
So it takes a lot more work and I just wouldn't say it's necessarily worth the purchase
I think there are a lot of highlighter lovers that are going to be obsessed with this
But I definitely wouldn't say that it's a necessity that everyone needs or the majority of people are definitely going to like
If you like Becca's shimmering skin perfectors anywhere and you're a fan of the range as a whole if you like champagne pop
You are probably gonna like this. So yeah, it's a really beautiful highlighter. I just wouldn't say it's definitely
Worth the splurge and then we have the new launches from the L'Oreal skin expert range
And when these arrived in the post these were not ones that I was originally too sure on
They're not really my type of skincare product and I do think that's something to definitely keep in mind as I review these
So this is a range of pure clay scrubs and washes
And I have different opinions on each of these for reference. I have oily dehydrated skin, but that is also very sensitive
so I struggle quite a lot with skincare and especially
Um with some drugstore skincare the ingredients can often be slightly different and I do find that that has a huge impact on my skin
But with this range there are some that I like and some that I don't like so
So the one that I like is the pure clay glow scrub and with scrubs
I generally get on quite well with them from high-end to budget scrubs. My skin generally
Enjoys them which is great and I really like this one
That's a great one for my skin and I find that it really like wakes my skin up brightens it
Gives it a really nice glow. Then we have the pure clay purity wash, which is a clay
Cleanser and this one was okay
I didn't find it to be too foamy and these
I was expecting to be quite foamy because they do have SLS in them, which is a really quite harsh foaming agent
It's not one of the top ingredients, but it is in there
I didn't find this to be too foamy or squeaky whilst using this on my skin
But I did find after my skin did feel more tight than it usually would with any of my other cleansers
So that is something to keep in mind and this is meant to have a more mattifying
Quality, which I think some people with oily skin will really like this for me
Um, I just felt like it wasn't quite right. I didn't enjoy the tight feeling after I felt like I ended up putting on
More product after cleansing because of that but actually the overall experience whilst cleansing my face was not that bad
So I feel a bit 50 50 on that one. It's not one I would reach for
Necessarily on a daily basis, but it's not one that I would say i'm never putting that on my face either
This one which is the pure clay detox wash which cleanses clarifies and detoxifies
I just found to be too drying on my skin. It was way too much for my skin
I often find that charcoal masks do that for me though
If you do like a charcoal mask and you want something like that, but there is a cleanser
I would say that this is definitely one to look into I have a feeling my boyfriend will love this
I think depending on your skincare preferences that you will either love this or just not really be fussed about one thing
I would say about these is that I don't think they're like
an everyday cleanser and I also don't feel like they
Are ones to take makeup off with as you can see it's a nice mint green color
And this for me is my favorite one because it's not too
Drying if you've got oily skin though
I think you will really like this because it does have a very mattifying effect. I'll just take the cleanser off
As normal with one of my flannels. It does feel very like nice and clean
after I think these are quite nice if you um
Want quite a deep cleanse but you don't necessarily want to do
Like a face mask that does a deep cleanse and then we get on to the worst
Launches that i've tried recently and I don't have too much to talk about here
But the items I am going to talk about I genuinely just thought they are a little bit silly and
It's kind of funny in a way, but it's just not something I would ever recommend that anyone buy ever
So firstly we have the benefit they're real double the lip
Lipsticks and they basically have a lighter color on the bottom and a darker color on the top. It's a cool concept
But it just doesn't quite work for me
It's not something that I would ever think to reach for and think oh, that's a good idea
I think it's come a little bit too late off the ombre lip bandwagon. I just
I think it's a bit silly. There are some shades where
the colors are just so similar that there's not really any difference and
I don't really get that either because then what's the point what makes it any different to a normal lipstick? So i'm assuming
So the darker color must go on the outside
Am I doing something wrong
I just don't think it looks good when you can see that there's a line. So I personally would rather go
like this and just
Blend it all in together, but then i'm like what's the point in
Having the two separate sections. What's the point in buying this lipstick over any other lipstick if you're just going to use it
As a normal lipstick just doesn't make sense to me and then we have the benefit they're real duo shadow blenders and
The eyeshadows come striped like the lipsticks and you get this
little
foam applicator which you kind of stripe through and then you're meant to
stripe it over your
Eyelid, I just don't get it because once I stripe it and i'm trying to blend it with the foam thing
I can still see that line there. It's not easily blendable. I would end up using another brush over this
It's trying to be a bit too convenient and I don't think that anyone would ever
Think oh, this is great for on the go. I'm just gonna
Stripe my eyeshadow and then swipe it over my eyelid. I'm gonna be upfront. I just don't like this
This is this is an awful idea. I'm gonna give it a try for you guys
Blend blend blend
It's getting worse, I cannot make this better if you can't do it with this sponge
That comes in the little palette
How do you?
Stripe it on because that is effectively the point of this product. You're meant to just be able to
Blend it on like that. If I then just use my own makeup brush
What makes this eyeshadow palette different to any other it's just this this whole contraption
makes it gimmicky and that's meant to be the point in buying this because it's more convenient and
But it's not because you end up looking like this and this is not convenient
So that is it for this best and worst new launches video
