A beautiful day here. Let's hope for a second game of the season at West Ham through suspension.
It is a major boost though that Carlsen is fit. 165 yellows and seven reds. West Ham rested nine
and the team that won the first leg for the Premier League defeated Brentford at the weekend.
David Moyes brings them all back though for this competition. That's a great ball forward
and the first big chance of the game drops to Jesper Carlsen. It's a wonderful ball up to him.
Over 50 games this campaign which is 51st of their 36 league games.
Keira is available. So fit. He's done well there. Keira first time in. Antonio is in the middle.
Headed away as far as Boehm with a shot. Dragged it. Referee quite clearly said to Jordi Classi
don't take the free kick. He thinks it's a let-off there for West Ham. The outside coach
Pavlidis sold the ball short there. Crespo was well positioned. Now Rice. Antonio. Here's Lucas
Paqueta. Onto his left foot. Bent it deliciously off the post. Closest we've got. Can't allow him
to get in on that left foot. Outhead outmarked. Great teammates as well. Anthony Acos. Two riders.
Into Pavlidis. The effort from Mainz was seen late but easily dealt with by Areola.
It's a lovely run wasn't it by Kerkes. Boehm for West Ham United. Not a good ball to Benrahma.
Sloppy. Benrahma takes on Sugawara this time. These defenders helped out by Van Brodereven.
He did well there. Here's Declan Rice from range. Kicked up off the turf. Awkward for Ryan.
Screams at his defenders because they let Declan Rice have far too much time on the ball.
Good ball out. Now Ryan there as he's continued his run. Pavlidis gets a shot away and Areola had
to make the save. And West Ham were backpedalling all the way into their own penalty area there.
Ian Zouma got across to make the challenge. Areola made the save.
Yellow card here for Keira for time wasted. Yes because. Tricky player. That's a good ball.
Kantenis. A weary touch back into the middle. Same huddle to try and block Matt Ryan off.
Into that mix comes the ball. Ryan punches away. Cresswell is there first. Keira for West Ham.
Antonio did really well. Give and go. Will it come to Antonio? Cross goal. Missed by Zolcik.
And missed by Agued too. They haven't had many chances in this second half. That's the only
the second one I can remember. They tried to work it through to Antonio.
Came at Agued at some speed but it was scuff wide. But those chances they've had and they
had the couple in the third. So to Meesterwitt. Bowen battling. Keira in there as well.
Two minutes he said to his team. Two minutes. Nervy. Found one on the phone. Phoning home.
In goes Vornaos. One chance to win it here for West Ham. Vornaos to take them to a European final
perhaps. He has done. He has done. On as a substitute. One chance to break away. One goal.
The one goal that takes West Ham United to a European final. Brilliant campaign. But Hatzidiakos
was tired in the challenge. Vornaos was daring and went on and he was positive and the shot back
across Ryan was exactly the pinpoint finish that was required. And West Ham lead in the
Netherlands by a goal to nil. And 3-1 on aggregate. There can be no consolation for Pascal Janssen.
West Ham United are going to Prague for the Europa Conference final.
A thoroughly professional, disciplined jogging.
