GHANA TRAVEL VLOG! Few days in Ghana went like this..

Babe in the cut. Good morning. First full day in Ghana. We are staying in Accra. Oh, I didn't even tell you where we're staying. We're staying at the luxury apartment. What's it called? We are about to head to the gym. When I travel with babe, he always wants to go to the gym. So I'm with it. And all this no situation, I don't know. Jet lag is real. Okay. And then the plane was super cold. It wasn't that comfortable. So that's probably why we're feeling a little more stuffed. So taking my mattress this morning. Going to work out. And they have a little cafe. So I'm hoping to grab a few things to snack on. Like a quick breakfast or something. So yeah. And maybe hit the pool. But we're definitely going to check out the grounds. I'll show you all as much as I can. It's a really, really cute place. It's big. Like there's so many apartments in here. So yeah. It's big. And if you like it, we went for a little walk last night around the property. So yeah. Let's start our day. So I'm currently in the bathroom. Workout is done. This is the bathroom. That also leads to the pool area is over there. I'm not sure if you can see it. But the pool is over here. And the bathroom is right here. I wanted to go to the pool, but he said he's cleaning up. So we'll probably have to do the pool later. But right now, they have a little cafe here. So I'm going to go to the cafe and order something for Babe and I. Babe is upstairs working out. So order maybe some coffee, some juice, or some tea, and a little bit of food. Going to see my mom today. She doesn't know I'm coming. So this is a surprise. So we're going to eat a little bit of something before we go there. Because once you see your mom, it's all right. You know, you know. It's been almost 15 years. Okay, so yesterday, did not get a photo. I got a photo with my mom, of course, but that was just a good day of bonding, reconnecting and stuff. So, yeah, that was good. But we didn't do much yesterday, besides hanging out with mom all day. So today, Babe is out with my cousin, waiting for him to come back, pick me up, so we can probably go get some food to eat. And there's this restaurant I want to try, so the plan is to go get some food to eat and just hang out. I want to see another cousin, and maybe my uncle today. I'm not sure if that will happen, but I do want to see them pretty, pretty soon. So, yep, the plan is to see them. So spend the day with me in Ghana. All right, let's see what we get up to. The cleaners came and cleaned up already, but my back is still a little bit in that. But, yeah, let's go. It's going to be a matter of, it's not just you, though. It's us doing it. No, it's 6. Oh, oh, oh. So, we're at the Arts Center, did some shopping, and went to see my mom, and she cooked us some authentic Guinean jollof. If you're not here now, yay! No, mama came through. She made us some jollof. I can't even open it. There's chicken in here. She fried some plantains. And then she also added salad. Look at that. After so many years, I'm just happy to come back and still be treated, you know, well and loved. And yeah, so we're about to sit and eat good. Good morning, happy Saturday. So I haven't picked you all up in a minute, but I'm here. It's been a lot of family meetings, like meeting family, seeing family, and spending quality time, so I haven't been picking you all up, but I'm here, I'm here, I'm here, I'm here. We're about to get on the road. Road trip. Me, babe, cousin. We are about to head to the Volta region. I want to say the village, but the Volta region, where I'm actually from, where my family's from. We're going to see more family. I probably won't show the whole meeting family. It's been almost 15 years, so I'm more about creating memories with my family, seeing them, so I probably won't show that part. However, I will, you know, try to take you all along and show you what the travel is like and maybe any adventures or any cute stuff we see on the way, right? My cousin is very familiar with this area. So, hopefully he can take us to like a cafe place. I'm thinking they will have one. So, hopefully he can take us up there. And we can get some coffee. Sunday again so we're back in a car going up back to the hotel so yo let me tell you tell you what happened we came back and we passed out passed out for like two hours straight slept so right now we're trying to go to the pool wearing this 3B set from Shein it's already kind of dark it's almost 6 p.m. but they were saying people are at the pool so I'm going to at least go check it out I don't know if I'll get any cute photos this is dark but I will let's see if we can enjoy the pool because we haven't done that we haven't really enjoyed the pool since we've been here where we stay has a pool excuse my voice there's a lot going on where we stay has a pool so we would like to see if we can enjoy those amenities and just oh I'm getting braids tomorrow I cannot wait to get my hair done there's really cute braids and she said it takes three to four hours so I hope she's able to do it because that would be cool but anyway let's see if we can we're by the pool, one of the pools, they have three pools here and we got some yam chips so they basically give you yam, fried yam and shiitake these are kind of like fries but it's it's from yam this is yam haven't had these in forever so it's really hot so we're just gonna sit here enjoy the view, talk, connect and yeah just enjoy some quality time together all right so we're about to head out we haven't been going much at night so you may not see a lot of nighttime footage but anyway we're about to head out wearing this dress, cute, I bought it, well Bae brought it for me so I decided to bring it on the yeah so let's go out and see if we can have some sort of fun I don't know how much I can share because I don't know if people are you know open to be shown so yeah let's go out and see what we can get up to good morning happy Monday so today is hair day I'm getting my hair washed and braided probably going to have to take my earrings off but yeah let's go get our hair braided in Ghana I'm excited to see my vision come to life so let's go I'm already late so let's go all right so I didn't really show you guys the process as much as I wanted to but you know I was in somebody's shop I don't know if I didn't know she would be comfortable and we were actually just chit-chatting I had great conversations you know the braiding shop the hair salon that's where all the juice that's where all the that's where all the tea be at so anyway put my hair down hope I can show you all later but love it actually it took forever it's a way longer than I expected it but love love love love love and I'll show you all another time but love my hair so far what do you think yay nay and it's ombre I don't even get color but love it you like my hair bae? thank you today's our last full day I'm finally meeting up with a friend so we are she's downstairs so we're headed to meet her right now but this is my fit we'll go grab lunch so let's go love love love love my hair love my hair oh yeah cute outfit from Shein, fanny bag, sandals that I purchased from the market what does it say?
