Hey, what's up everybody? It's T-Ron here. That's T-E-A-R-O-N period.
And I would first like to thank all of the new subscribers to the channel.
We have recently surpassed 200. Yeah.
Minus 200. And we are on our way. We're trying to race to a thousand. So we're doing a slow
and steady race here. But I appreciate everyone who has subscribed to the channel, comments on
videos, like videos, things like that. Continue to do those things. Continue to subscribe to
the channel, like the content, and leave comments. I try to respond to every comment right now
and interact with everyone. So if you have any questions, comments,
any good vibes you want to send, I'm open to it. Okay. So I thought I'd switch it up here
for the second part of this vlog series and share with you some of the places that I stayed
so that you could kind of get a feel for what to expect when you arrive in Ghana or get an idea of
what kind of places to look for. So to maybe feel like I was really in West Africa. Okay.
And I was just like, yo, I'm really here. It was exciting for me. I had to get used to
the roads. If you travel outside of this posh Ghana, right? If you really actually explore the
city, at some point, you are going to run into some of the roads. Here's my advice to you for
roads in Ghana. When you are riding in your boats, Uber, whatever you are in, and you see
those potholes, those bumps coming up in the road, don't step up. Do not step up. Okay.
Just go with it. Go with it. If the bump takes you here, you just ride with it. That's all I
can say. Just let your body go with the motion of that. That's my advice to you and your neck.
Let's start with the first place that I stayed in Sowetume. Now, the place that I stayed in
Sowetume, I don't want to give the name away of it because like I said, Accra is becoming
a huge tourist town and I see a lot of y'all planning y'all's stay. And I don't want y'all
to book up what I found to be one of my favorite places. So, I'm going to show it to you and I may
or may not leave a link in the bio for it. Not link in the bio. That's Instagram. I may not leave
a link in the description for it. Okay. I'll decide. I'll let you know. Hey, what's up everybody?
So, I made it. I'm finally here. I'm in Ghana, Accra to be exact. And I found a little hideout.
Don't mind. I don't know if you can see the stuff here, but don't mind it. Don't worry about it.
Got in last night. I want to say a little bit after seven. Getting through the airport
took a while, but it was not a hassle. Not as much as others have experienced or, you know,
mentioned in their blog and stuff online. So, I'm enjoying myself so far. I haven't
gone out completely yet. So, this is the first morning and I'm going to show you around
where I'm staying. Okay. Now, the second place that I stayed was Embassy Gardens. Okay. Embassy
Gardens is popular for tourists. Apparently, a lot of people have stayed there. Different
celebrities and things like that who travel to Accra tend to stay there. And, you know, it's a
place where a lot of politicians and things like that also roam around and stuff. So, it's a bit
pricey, I must say. Of the places that I stayed, it's the second priciest place. What I will say
about this is I didn't enjoy it that much. It was nice. You get privacy. You get, you know, security,
if you will. But, for the amount of money that was spent on staying in Embassy Gardens,
I probably would have stayed somewhere else, honestly. Other than the convenience of the
thing. And then, if you're traveling around, everyone kind of knows where it is. So, you know,
if you are catching an Uber or a boat or something like that, and you tell your driver you're going
to the Embassy Gardens, they usually know where it is. So, it's one of those things where you
don't really have to worry about what it is. And it's right there in the middle of Cantermans.
But, it's not my favorite place that I stayed, I must say. Not for the lack of amenities and how
nice the room was and everything. It just didn't give me anything. And also,
my view was a wall. So, it was what it was. But, no complaints. Just information.
And then, the last place that I stayed was the absolute best. They call it the Pearl in the
City. And it's also in Cantermans. But, it's definitely aptly named because
it fits. I had no problems at the Pearl, okay? Again, now, this place I did not find on
Airbnb, I don't think. I want to say I booked it through Expedia. But, there's several ways to book
a stay at each of these places that I mentioned. And I think I stayed there
probably like two weeks, a week or two. I can't remember. It's the most expensive place of the
bunch. But, it has everything you need. The staff there, they are on point. They are going to come
at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and clean your room whether you want them to or not.
And the host who I had, he was very, very attentive and very responsive and super cool,
super cool. But, yeah, I have no complaints about that place.
Can I play basketball? You think every nigga can play basketball?
All right. So, all three of these places, I highly recommend to you. There are three
different places at three different price points. But, each of them all offer something unique
and helped me make my stay in Accra so much better, so much better. I felt comfortable at
each place. I felt secure at each place. Didn't, you know, have any issues. If there was anything
that came up, anything minor like needing extra towels or something, it was easy. But, yeah,
I will leave, I decided, I decided I will leave a link to the places that I stayed in the
description. Just say I sent you, I guess. Just say you heard it here. These places are in no way
like associated or sponsored this video. I just want to share with you what I experienced in some
of the places that I stayed in. Hopefully, you enjoyed this. If you did enjoy this video,
