Daniil Medvedev vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Extended Highlights | Nitto ATP Finals 2022

Attacking tennis on all sorts of services, you often see him coming forward even on the clay, don't you, trying to impose his game, but to switch. Oh, he just made that, that was just gonna drift wide for a moment, but it must have just shaved the line. Not the most convincing volley, but how about the play from Medvedev, the second serve serve volley. That's good stuff, pure self-defense early on. Well, have fun at these points, just seeing the side of these two players that you don't often get to see. A lot of net play, a lot of improvisation. Just made it, I think. Oh, come on, what a point, big off the ground initially, exquisite touch around the net. Especially from Steps, it's a pass, look back on the final point of the game there. Once he got hold of a couple of backhands, really started to accelerate, you just, injection of pace on that one there, changes line, gets the forehand, absolutely rifles it. Beautiful little touch, and as you said Lee, Medvedev trying to go through him just in the opening three games, but there were moments where he was careless in that game, scrappy, didn't make many first serves. So often moments against Rublev than we were expecting. Darwiz. Referencing earlier in the week, another nice serve volley. Where he's returning that from, hard for him to hit amongst serve points. We're getting to the stage where Medvedev is going to have to, championship or two. Well, he will be delighted with the outcome. Nearly, looks as if it may well be more of the same, no change from Medvedev other than actually. Thinking clearly, all departments. Definitely an effective tactic. Tremendous start to the game. The final push to the finish line. Yeah, too good. Finds the gap. Oh, brilliant. What a forehand. Combination of power and precision. Untouchable. Sensational, because again. Tennis of the very highest level. Medvedev working his magic. Back to the old faithful. Serve out wide. Rock solid. Blinks. Oh, that's quality tennis under pressure. Really good volley. Oh, what a play. What an angle off the forehand. Brilliant forehand. The Iceman survives again. From these two incredible athletes. Medvedev lost the first. Both have been so good under pressure. He's missed it. Another crazy point. Midnight drama in Turin will continue. What a tie break. Nicely done. What a conclusion to the opening game. A nice combination. Medvedev's just starting to get a bit of a read on the drop shot. Baseline tennis at times this evening too. And a serve and volley this time. But it didn't. As he prepares to break point. Five minutes. Razor sharp. Sits a pass. Can celebrate. After a match full of drama. A match with a bit of everything. Three match points slipped away in the second set for the Greek. It then looked like it would be Medvedev to finish on top when he served for the match of 5-4 in the third. But what a tie break this guy played.
