Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat Game 1 Full Highlights | 2023 ECF | FreeDawkins

Welcome to Game 1 in the Best of 70 3rd Conference Finals on TNT. The Miami Heat, the first 8th seed to make the finals in 24 years. The Celtics have the 2nd best record in the NBA, but have lived on the edge in these playoffs. Bulldozing his way inside, out of my own. It's Smart, who has averaged 5 more points a game in these playoffs than regular season. Way off there, Williams, the rebound! And already you see the difference Williams is in the starting lineup. It's Butler, and this is over Williams, and Jimmy Butler connects right there. Averaging 31 points a game in the playoffs, good fake. Stopper on a dime. With the drive here by Smart, good feed. Williams again! Well, Robert Williams has just always got his head under the rim, Reggie. Smartford makes a great defensive player. With 4 minutes gone here on the 1st, inside, out of Bayou, right there again. Benson got it, and pops the triple. That's good sign there, because he's only been 2-17. Shooting 3's coming off that New York series. Tatum galloping the other way. Matcom brought him free! And in these playoffs after this. A free from Tatum. Knees his way into the paint. Kicks it out to Martin with a 3. Smart will inbound, White is out there, a good defensive player. Brown, in to Martin. Seller is in. Tipped back by Brown. Got it to go. Butler over Smart. Rebound Butler. He's all over the place. Gets his own miss. Pops it back up and in, he's got 10. Good pass. Smart to Brown! It's Martin flying inside and scoops it home. Peyton Pritchard has checked in for the Celtics. On the move, it's Tatum. He's got 7. Butler on Moon to Pritchard. Pulls up the midrange. On top. Second team all defense. It's a 3. Lowry on top. Adebayo back in with his screen. And Lowry puts one up from 15. Second foul goes on Tatum. Adebayo's had trouble with that shoulder on and off. And you see again, Reggie, the Celtic defense on Adebayo. Pulverizing his way inside was Tatum. Towards the zone as well. Outside Lowry with a 3. So key. Lowry's contribution off the bench. 37-year-old Kyle Lowry, an NBA champion, on the fly. Another 3! Here he's 2 in a row. And damn Adebayo stays very, very low. Does not come up to the free throw line like a lot of people utilize their center in the zone. It's a 3, but Lowry knocks in another one. He is clicking, gentlemen. Tatum will sidestep his way. Williams will collect the ball. Oh, it's getting grizzly in that rain. It's Rob Williams for 2. The Celtics are not just trying to shoot over the top. It's Kyle Lowry, gentlemen. Tatum inside. It's 1 for 3. That's what's kept him in this ballgame, gentlemen. Now what the Celtics have done is drive the ball to the rim on the heat, just like Al Horford did. Try to finish. Screened by Smart. Got the ball. Horford a triple. 7 assists, no turnovers. By Smart, the cutting for 2. Shot clock at 9. Strews. That's his first field goal attempt. Smart has had his fingerprints all over this one. Another assist. His 9th. His 9th assist. Tatum trying to find some space with 13. Takes it inside. They're going to score it. Inside. Butler collides. Horford kicks it on top. It's Tatum there. Right by Vincent. Took it. Muscles his way inside for 2. Normally, they're the second best team in the league in limiting paint points during the year. Good fake. Martin across the lane. With a reverse. Pretty play. Caleb Martin, 7 off the bench. Into Williams. What a pass. Into William. Been throwing it all over the place with his 11th assist. 3. Laced in by Marcus Smart. Adebayo drives into Horford. Hits the deck and got it to fall in. Strews. It's a 3. Bullseye. Puts it down. Vincent leaping in. Love the other way. Aims. Shoots. Score. Another 3. It's Vincent on the move. Into Smart. And finds the 2. Nice patience there by Vincent. 3. Brown. And book it. Adebayo. The bump into Tatum. The 2. Foul. What a game that Adebayo was having. 16 points. Inside. Strews. The cut. Knocked away. Cut it. It's a goaltend on Tatum and a 2 for Miami. Smart 3. Double smart. But with a twirling shot. Tipped out. What a play by Butler. Halfway through the third. Strews across the lane. Knocked away by. And the score. Move on Strews. You go up to shoot. Shoot. Shooter. You never got caught in those. Strews. Well Max Strews can get it going. Butler. Is tailed by White. Doubled. And he still hits. They just ran a floppy action. Tatum hard to the right. The use of the left hand there coach. Brockton. Drives on Martin. Butler's got 12 in this third. 27 points for the game. Martin. Punt fake and a triple. Caught. This offense is all generated through. Jimmy Butler. With a great move into Zeller. Lowry weaving. Lowry firing. Lowry gets it to go. In the corner. Strews a three. Cleared. White a three. Lowry with the ball. To Zeller. In to Williams. The place is alive. Brown wins. Gets it off. To Venson. Martin. Gabe Venson. Three. Good. There. Sticks it. Brown inside. He has been unrelenting inside. Kicks it out. Martin drives and scoops it home. Rebound by Tatum. Down court to Brown. White triple. He drills it. Jimmy Butler. Scuffling his way into the paint. Over White. What a shot. Venson has screened. Switched Brockton. Was defending. And Butler's got 31. Tatum from Horford. Adebayo in the air. Butler not doing well. Corral. Adebayo will dip. And Butler will spin. He's doubled. Straight jacket outside. Martin. He'll be the three. Shot clock at three. Butler with Brogdon. On him. It's a long three. And good. Jimmy frickin' Butler puts it in. Oh my goodness. Smart the other way. Big time dive play. Smoke puts it through. It's a Brown three on a spinning shot. A rebound by Brogdon. A gentle shot is already in through. Flag has been raised. Miami has come in to Boston. And game one and one. On the Celtics four. 123-116. Get a little bit out of hand. Often drink more than I had planned. But maybe. We'll own the night. Bone in in tears. Or a drunken fight. But maybe. We will own the night. Bone in in tears. Or a drunken fight. Well I know a J too much. I say too much. I guess I'm the type of man. Who falls in love. All at once. I'm hoping you'll understand. I wanna be.
