(Seria A 2022/2023): Highlights Salernitana - Atalanta

Zappacosta, Pasalic, into the arms of Ochoa, Soppi, still going Brandon Soppi, almost an own goal there. Here is Davide Zappacosta, just Tuvan Zapata to aim for in the center. Zappacosta in towards Tuvan Zapata, header on target. Zapata out to Soppi, there's a two-on-one if they can get this right. Soppi, great ball into Zapata, Atalanta getting closer. Edison, Edison goes for goal and forces a good save from Ochoa. Pasquale Mazzocchi goes for goal, first save that Sportiello has had to make in the match and it was an easy one. Tiron in towards Zapata, Tuvan Zapata, how dangerous has he been in this first half. Pjonsek, Villena, Villena goes with his weaker side, fairly straightforward there for Sportiello. Zapata, well won. This is Pulaitia, one-on-one. Pulaitia, he fluffs his lines right at the last. Mazzocchi once again, intelligent ball. Pjonsek onto Bottheim, Salernitana playing some good stuff here early on in the second half. Bottheim, Sportiello with a great save. Pjonsek blasts his diving header over. Villena onto Pulaitia and that is a great block by Toloi in the end. Pjonsek, shots. Toloi, forward to Hoyland. Now this is where Atalanta can be dangerous. They've hardly been in the game for the last five minutes and Muriel blasts over, disappointing from him. Pulaitia spots Candreva. This is Pjonsek, back to Candreva. Is that the goal that ensures Salernitana's safety? That little piece of quality has been delivered by Antonio Candreva. Not mathematically confirmed yet, but surely Salernitana can start to prepare for a third season in Serie A. Final score at the Arequique, Salernitana 1 Atalanta 0.
