Aloha my friends, Christina here and I'm so happy to be back in a new video with you today because
I'm going to be sharing with you how to make the most delicious strawberry milk and not just any
strawberry milk but a raw vegan coconut cashew strawberry milk that is absolutely to live for.
Summer is practically here and also Mother's Day so I wanted to share with you a delicious
simple sweet and fun recipe that you can make to share with your loved ones.
What makes this recipe different is that there are no added sugars, no preservatives,
no citric acids, no chemicals, no animal products, no animal excretions. This is a very
clean and simple recipe, only the best ingredients for your body. If you remember drinking strawberry
or chocolate milk as a kid, this recipe will be super nostalgic and comforting for you.
It's so delicious and the best part about it is that it's so healthy for you. There are no
processed ingredients or sugars or syrups added into this. It's just straight up fresh wholesome
strawberry coconut cashew milk. You can use this milk to drink in the morning, you can add it into
your cereals, you can use this however you want. It's simply divine. For those of you who've been
following me a long time, you've seen me make multiple types of nut milk recipes here on my
channel and what I'm going to be doing differently today is I'm actually going to be using the
coconut water and meat from these two coconuts right here to make a strawberry coconut milk and
it is absolutely divine. Now if you don't have coconuts like this, what I would recommend is
either to go get the freshest bought coconut water you can find or if you can go to one of
your local Asian markets and get some of their young coconuts. They usually look like they have
a white husk. Grab some of those and get a coconut jack, something that you can crack it open with
and then you can use the water and scrape out the meat for this recipe. I'm going to be showing you
how I open up my coconuts and get out the water and the meat from these in just a bit. I know many
of you are celebrating Mother's Day this weekend so I just wanted to throw this out there that if
you're looking for a great Mother's Day gift, a birthday gift, or a gift of any kind, the Namawel
J2 juicer is a wonderful gift to give. Not only does it encourage your loved one to get in the
kitchen and start juicing but also it encourages healthy habits and it makes it fun. I'm going to
be using my Namaw J2 juicer to make this milk recipe. Yes, this juicer makes delicious nut
milks whether it's coconut milk, almond milk, cashew milk, macadamia nut milk, this machine is the best
and if you've seen me use this on my channel you know that I love this because it has this
wide open hopper where you can add in whole ingredients at a time, walk away, and when you
come back your fresh juice is made. It saves me time, money, and prep for many reasons. I have a whole
blog post and several videos that I've made about this juicer I've included in the description below
so if you're looking for a great Mother's Day gift or gift for any other special occasion,
definitely check out the Namaw J2 juicer. You can use the code FULLYRAW55 at checkout to get
$55 off this amazing juicer and I've included that link below for you. So let's jump into this super
yummy recipe. Are you ready? Let's get started. You're going to need approximately two large
cartons of strawberries or two pints. You can leave the greens on there, they're super nutritious to
juice, but just note that they will change the color of your juice or the milk that you're trying
to make and since I want this milk to come out looking super pink or red and pretty I went ahead
and I cut them off. You'll also need approximately one cup of cashews, three to four pitted dates,
and approximately two large coconuts or three young coconuts. If you don't have fresh coconuts
I recommend probably using about 32 ounces of the freshest coconut water that you can find
at a store. Please make sure there are no added sugars, no preservatives. You want 100% coconut
water raw if you can find it. So I'm going to go ahead and extract the coconut water from these
coconuts. As you can see here I have a very handy dandy coconut tool that I use to pop open the top
and I use to get the coconut water out. After I do this I'll then chop the coconut in half with a
machete that way I can get to the inside of the coconut and then I will scrape the coconut out
with a spoon. This allows me to get some of that good coconut meat out and I'm going to use this
to make our coconut milk. If you wanted to make a straight up coconut milk you can simply run the
coconut water and the coconut meat through your J2 juicer just like this alone and make a delicious
fresh coconut milk. But today since we're adding a twist onto this milk we're going to go ahead and
put the water aside and the meat aside and let's begin making this recipe. I like to use a ladle
or a very large soup spoon when making my nut milks in the J2 juicer. It just makes life a little
bit easier. You can make your milk in your J2 juicer in multiple ways. You can go ahead and add
in your cashews first and then simply follow it up by adding in a bunch of coconut water and letting
it run or you can use my ladle or large spoon technique and fill up your spoon with equal parts
of your ingredients and coconut water and simply keep adding it into the top of the juicer. I find
that this helps me to mix in equal parts of the ingredients. That way I get the sweetest nut or
coconut milk. So as you can see here I'm adding in some strawberries. I'm adding in cashews and some
dates and then I'm always following it up with some coconut water and I'm just letting the machine run.
Look at how beautiful and smooth the strawberry milk looks. Oh my goodness absolutely divine.
Once you've gone ahead and made all of the strawberry milk that you like you can go ahead
and add this into any glass jar of your choice. Look at the gorgeous color on the strawberry milk.
Yum! I'm absolutely obsessed with making different types of nut milks because not only can you make
them and use them in different recipes but also they're just so much fun to serve and enjoy
especially during the hotter seasons. For those of you looking to mix up your nut milk recipes
this one definitely adds a special twist. I hope you love this strawberry milk recipe as much as I
do. I hope this encourages you to drink one fresh juice or one fresh milk recipe a day and I hope
that you're able to share it with your loved ones and that they enjoy it too. Something else that I
just want to point out to you very quickly is that you can save this pulp to make the most delicious
raw vegan cookies. Save this pulp, this coconut cashew nutty pulp, you can save this pulp to use
in my snickerdoodle raw vegan cookie recipe and I'll link that below so when it calls for almond
flour or any other type of nut flour you can essentially just dehydrate this or let it dry
out and use this in your cookie recipe instead. So it's a perfect zero waste recipe and another way
you can use this juice pulp. If this milk looks delicious to you and if you're excited to give it
a try please be sure to give this video a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button because there is
only more yumminess to come. If you're interested in checking out the Nama J2 juicer and getting
$55 off you can use the code FULLYRAW55 and that link is below in the description for you.
