Welcome to the channel where you can cook with confidence.
This recipe is delicious and the best part, it literally takes 10 to 15 minutes to make.
Boil some water for the noodles.
Chop down about 6 grams of broccolini into bite sized pieces.
Soak a quarter pound of rice noodles in the hot water for about 3 to 4 minutes.
I'm using about 150 grams of mixed mushrooms here.
Have some fresh shiitake, some cremini mushrooms, and some shimeji mushrooms, but of course
you can use whatever mushrooms you like.
Two cremini mushrooms, sliced.
Chop up 50 grams of fresh shiitake mushrooms.
Chop two sticks of green onion into bite sized pieces.
One tablespoon hoisin sauce.
One teaspoon toasted sesame oil.
One teaspoon dark soy sauce.
Two tablespoons soy sauce.
Stir.
Give the noodles a stir to get rid of the excess starch, then drain out the water.
Non-stick pan.
Medium heat.
A good drizzle of olive oil.
Saute the broccolini for 2 to 3 minutes.
Mushrooms.
Saute the mushrooms for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Noodles.
Sauce.
Saute for another 2 to 3 minutes until the noodles are cooked.
Plate.
Sprinkle over some white sesame seeds.
You can now make this easy and fast noodle dish with absolute confidence.
Three of my favorite things on one plate.
Delicious mixed mushrooms, amazing sauce soaked noodles, and of course, one of my favorites,
broccolini.
Man, that is just so humble, amazingly delicious and easy to make.
You get the saltiness from the soy sauce, that beautiful, dark, almost caramel color
from the dark soy sauce, and a little bit of that sesame flavor from the toasted sesame
oil.
And of course you have that delicious sweetness from the hoisin sauce, and that sauce really
gets absorbed into those noodles and just turns it that beautiful caramel color.
Then you get the earthiness from the fresh mushrooms that just sauteed really well, and
the crunchiness from the broccolini also adds a little bit of color, and the freshness from
the green onion.
Really, really simple, really humble ingredients, and of course, it doesn't take long to put
this together.
What more can you ask for?
Absolutely amazing.
I can definitely make this on any weeknight and be a very happy camper.
Absolutely love it.
