So I'm just catching up on some computer work at the moment. I just responded to some emails,
and now I'm putting in a print order, and then I was going to try and make some short form video.
I've been wanting to try out YouTube Shorts, so I'm gonna see about putting together a few videos,
and yeah, just computer stuff. I'm not really sure what this vlog is going to be. I think it's
probably just going to be filming my day. I didn't film at all in the last week after I did my tour
video. I actually wound up going to Portland and helping a friend move and work on his camper.
He was reaching the end of his lease, and he's moving back onto the road, and he had a lot of
stuff to do before that happened. And then I wound up staying there for Fourth of July weekend,
which was interesting. I don't know, it was just really loud, and there were people everywhere
shooting off fireworks. I didn't really sleep that well. And now I'm in Washington, which feels
really good. I just love it so much here, and it's been really pretty out here. The weather has just
been a mix of sun and rain. This spring slash summer has been one of the wetter ones that I've
experienced in the Pacific Northwest. I'm pretty sure that we had a record-breaking spring when it
comes to precipitation, and yeah. Gosh, I need a haircut. Look at this freaking mop. I haven't had
a haircut since November, so it's been eight months. Wow, it's been eight months. So this
is a fun development. My driver's side door stopped opening from either the inside and the outside, so
yeah, it's just part of owning an older truck, you know.
It's a pretty minor fix, I think. I just have to actually put in the time to fix it.
Here's what I'm gonna be doing.
I'm so emotionally attached to this thing. You know, I don't have many things, but
the things that I do have, I really care about.
One of my favorite things to do is to just sit and watch. It's amazing to me the things you see
when you simply pay attention. When you turn your focus to the things around you,
you start to see all the beautiful details.
You start to see the world come alive.
All of the intricacies and stories of our surroundings.
There is so much beauty if you choose to look, and one of the goals of my videos is to
encourage everyone to do the same. To just go outside, sit, and observe with no distractions.
It's a sort of meditation to me that I learned from, and
I just really want to share that feeling with you as well.
Anyways, time for dinner.
So it's like almost 2 a.m. now, and I'm still awake. I've been staying up pretty late lately.
I have just found that I am really creative at night, and I don't know,
I think it has something to do with, like, this. Everyone is asleep, and so I feel like
the whole world is my little creative playground. I don't know, it's weird, but
anyways. I've just been playing guitar, writing some music, playing around with this fun little
keyboard that I got. It's so fun. I'm also trying out some new tunings, so that's fun.
So
I've actually never met him, but I believe we will be friends.
And yeah, we're gonna go on a hike up in the national park, so it should be fun.
This video was supposed to come out a few weeks ago, but it didn't. I've been a little busy.
I flew to see my parents. I lost track of this edit. Committing to a video per week has been
an adjustment for sure, and I respect those of you that make it happen.
It's definitely still my goal as well, so.
Anyways, I hope you are all enjoying these little stories, and thanks so much for watching.
I really, really appreciate it.
