Carlos Alcaraz vs Stefanos Tsitsipas | Barcelona 2023 Final Highlights

Big from the get-go. Safety there is built into that shot as well. How much height he gets over the net because of the amount of work on the ball. Start that is, goodness me. You can see, not waiting for the ball. Well the chop shot may not have been his best. So Stefano Tsitsipas. It's nicely done. Able to find Tsitsipas' backhand there. Placement. That's what he does so well. Pushing you back. I can't see it coming. It's just... It's perfect point construction. This is too much to handle there for the Spaniard. He did come in 32 times yesterday against Musetti. 22 times against Demino in the quarterfinals. And he's dipping into his Manila masterpieces already. It was also because Tsitsipas is taking a very defensive position there. It's too good. Figenalkera has a taste of his own medicine. To stay too much far back. He was there with ample time to spare. It's just amazing. Big return to the forehand side to open up the court. Then the second shot with a lot of shape to the backhand. Gets the short ball. What a remarkable finish. How on earth did he get to the net as quickly as he did there? Well, we don't keep tallies with this particular event on those particular shots. No Hawkeye this week to provide us with a little bit of additional info. An outstanding set of tennis from the defending champion. He's yet to defend a title. You get the sense that might be about to change. Oh, he's made it. What a volley that was. Oh, he made it. Great pass from Tsitsipas. Also very skillful at the net. Then you're in trouble. Another extraordinary rally. He's going to leave a quick handstand at the net. Quick reactions. I mean, all of his other matches too. Oh, no, he's missed it, I think. Genius. And not just a lob. Just has the answer for everything. It's another break and it's another step. What a shot that was. It's just the combination there with the raw power. And he's pushing. Sometimes easy in this situation is to... It's been so easy on the eye. And that point just encapsulates. It doesn't seem to be bothered by the scoreboard as well. It's perfection in Barcelona from Carlos Alcaraz. The 19-year-old defends his title. Some lovely words exchanged between the two, it would seem. Tsitsipas simply was second best. It's his third title of the season. The first time in his career he is able to defend a title. Carlos Alcaraz!
