There are few athletes or entertainers quite as synonymous with wealth as the stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ and dealin’ son of a gun – professional wrestler known as “The Nature Boy”, Ric Flair. But as much as Ric has always loved to tell anyone who’ll listen that his shoes cost more than your house, when it comes to his own living arrangements, Ric has always come-up short in terms of expectations versus reality. That might have something do with the fact that after a lifetime of hard living, Ric’s net-worth has receded to a reported $500,000. But before we get into the reasons for that, let’s take a look at Ric’s longtime home in Charlotte, North Carolina – a gorgeous manor that spans over 5,000-square-feet and has been assessed as being worth as much as $1 Million. Boasting two-stories, with six-rooms, four-bathrooms, and an outdoor pool, Ric owned this property located just 30-minutes from Charlotte’ downtown area for years. Based upon images circulating online, it boasted a front-foyer with wooden floors and a curvaceous central-stairwell. It’s also got an attic-space up-top that’s been transformed into an activity center and game room with a carpeted floor, arts-and-crafts space, built-in shelving, as well as a ping-pong table. My guess? This is the one spot in the house Ric designed for his grandkids whenever they happened to drop by.

That might have something to do with the fact that after a lifetime of hard
living, Ric's net worth had receded to a reported $500,000.
But before we get into the reasons for that,
let's take a look at Ric's longtime home in Charlotte, North Carolina,
a gorgeous manor that stands over 5,000 square feet and has been assessed as
being worth as much as $1 million.
Boasting two stories with six rooms, four bathrooms and an outdoor pool,
Ric owned this property located just 30 minutes from Charlotte's downtown area
for years. Based upon photos online,
it boasted a front foyer with wooden floors and a curvy main staircase.
It's also got an attic space up top that's been transformed into an activity
center and games room with an arts and crafts space built in shelves as well as a
ping pong table. My guess,
this is the one spot in the house Ric designed for his grandkids whenever they
happened to drop by. Then again,
if they'd rather spend time outside,
they could relax around his screened in deck or take a jump into the
geometrically shaped wall. As pretty as this place is,
there was that one time that Ric unfortunately brought his work home with him in
the type of way that only can happen in professional wrestling.
While feuding with his own son,
David during his days in WCW,
Ric would see his home invaded by his bitter offspring and his accomplice,
Vince Russo, who attempted to put a scare into Ric's daughter, Ashley,
the woman who would grow up to become one of the most accomplished female
wrestlers of all time, Charlotte Flair.
Other tidbits that this throwback clip revealed about Ric's home include a
living room with a marble hearth fireplace along with a very white family
portrait. Meanwhile, upstairs in Ric's bedroom,
he owned a four corner post bed. Of course,
it was Ric's party hard ways that eventually landed him in financial hot water
and would lead to him abandoning this home to find somewhere new to live.
Ric Flair's issues with the IRS date back as far as the early nineties.
In fact,
it was due to his legal issues that he eventually had to sell his longtime
Charlotte home and figure out arrangements of a different sorts.
That living arrangement wasn't entirely clear for a while.
Then the IRS came calling in the late 2010s.
In 2019,
Ric was body slammed with a $280,000 tax bill just days after being released
from the hospital following emergency surgery.
At the time,
both the IRS and the Georgia department of revenue had issued notices of liens
on the home the nature boy was living in,
but it wasn't officially his home.
While spending the past few years living with his fifth wife,
a Wendy Barlow in Atlanta,
Ric had been renting a $370,000 property boasting five bedrooms in the middle of
the city suburbs.
And after getting hit with the lien,
tax documents would reveal that Ric still owed the federal government nearly
$240,000 on his 2016 through 2018 earning.
That means any property that was officially under his name could be seized to
settle those debts.
But Ric doesn't own any land or real estate right now.
Complicating matters further was his health scare that resulted in what he
referred to as a $1.8 million tuna.
So with his expenses piling up,
is it any surprise that Ric decided to step into the ring once more in 2022 for
a fight that was billed as Ric Flair's last match?
All he needed to do to prepare himself properly for his big moment was move
homes once again.
While preparing for his final bout,
teaming up with his son-in-law Andrade to take on Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett,
Ric Flair moved to Florida for the first time in his life to begin getting
himself into fighting shape again.
More specifically,
he moved to Tampa when asked to describe what his experiences in Florida had been
like.
Flair said,
this town is just Mac daddy.
It's awesome.
Since his arrival in Florida,
Flair has continued to rent a home alongside his wife,
Wendy.
And while I can't tell you exactly where they live,
I can tell you about how they spend their time in the city.
For starters,
Ric has become a boating fiend since moving to Florida.
And if you can't find him on the open water,
then odds are pretty good that he's living it up at bars like Hula Bay or the
Battery.
And then there's his other new job as a deputy of Hillsborough County after
Sheriff Chad Chronister named him an honorary member of the staff.
In the lead up to the last match,
Ric also spent two hours a day at Hard Knock South,
a private gym where John Cena's own personal trainer pushed Ric harder than
anyone has in years.
Once he finished with that experience,
Ric would take his in-ring skills to Tampa Bay's Lethal Academy,
a pro wrestling shop run by Ric's opponent and friend Jay Lethal.
According to Flair,
he decided to embark on this final match,
not because he was bored or because he needed the money,
but because he simply wanted to taste the thrill of performing one last time.
And now that the match is over,
he won by the way,
you can find Ric getting visits at his Florida home from some of his famous
friends,
such as country singer Darius Rucker who showed up at Ric's place a couple of
years ago to personally serenade him.
Based on the double TV layout of that room,
it looks like Ric is doing all right for himself once again.
Financially speaking,
that is.
The exact state of his legal issues isn't entirely clear,
but after making a ton of bank off his last match in summer 2022,
he probably managed to clear a lot of it from his books.
Here's hoping that Ric can finally get around to enjoying retirement and not
have to worry about potentially going broke.
That's simply no way for the legend of Ric Flair to come to an end.
Until that final chapter is written once and for all,
that'll bring this latest edition of house tour to a close.
Thanks so much for watching.
And before you leave,
consider answering the following question.

And if you want to keep checking out more homes,
then stay tuned because coming up next is a look into the homes of Hulk Hogan.
Bye.
Hulk Hogan is best known as a former wrestler,
actor and reality television star.
And with his success,
he snagged some pretty nice Florida real estate over the years.
Back in 1992,
Hulk paid $2 million for a waterfront property in Bel Air,
Florida.
In 2014,
Hulk paid $3 million for a home in nearby Clearwater,
Florida.
In 2016,
he paid $1.6 million for the home next door.
The first home was demolished and he spent the next several years building an
opulent mansion in its space that encompassed more than 17,000 square feet.
And fun fact,
this is the home that viewers saw in his reality show.
Hogan knows best.
The latter is Hulk's more modest real estate purchase,
downsizing to a 2000 square foot home with features like a beachfront deck among
the sand dunes in panoramic views.
Today we'll check out Hulk's properties past and present,
and they're way too nice to miss.
In these videos,
we don't reveal any addresses.
And even though I've done a house tour of my own place,
please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe for
anyone.
Hulk Hogan has quite the lucrative career in professional wrestling and show
business,
garnering a net worth of $45 million.
While that number may seem a little low considering his real estate portfolio,
there are a few factors at play.
He had a lawsuit against Gawker due to an infidelity scandal where he was
seeking $140 million and only received 31 mil.
Hogan had also lost tens of millions of dollars to his ex-wife Linda during the
divorce because of infidelity.
Finally Hogan admits to spending hundreds of millions on an extremely lavish
lifestyle at the peak of his career.
In the 1990s Hogan has been credited as turning professional.
In addition,
Hogan has always been a very savvy merchandiser and marketer and has a variety
of different businesses under his belt.
In 1995 he opened up pasta mania,
his own signature pasta restaurant.
In 2008 he came out with his own energy drink called Hogan energy.
And sometime after that,
In 2012 he opened up Hogan's beach in Tampa and Hogan's hangout in nearby
Clearwater beach.
After making bank,
Hogan was able to spread his real estate seed throughout Florida in a big way.
His first purchase was in 1992,
the waterfront property in Bel Air,
Florida.
And in the loom of his divorce with ex-wife Linda,
the home was originally listed for $26 million.
Two years later,
the financial crisis and real estate downturn struck.
And by this point,
the two had separated and were looking to liquidate assets so they could split
and move forward.
In August,
2009,
the price was lowered to $13.9 million.
The price was chopped again and again until Hulk finally accepted $6.2 million
in April,
2012,
which was $19 million less than the original asking price.
Since then,
Hogan has begun to rebuild his net worth and snagged a couple of nice properties
side by side in Clearwater.
Hey,
life isn't so difficult after all for good old Hulk Hogan.

it's Karen.

Today,
we're looking at where the one and only Hulk Hogan calls home in the sunny state
of Florida,
including his over the top former mansion featured on his reality show and his
current estate in Clearwater.
As always,
don't forget to follow me on Instagram to chat.
And now let's get into this video.
Whoever managed to hold out and snag the 17,000 square foot mansion for only
$6.2 million is an absolute genius.
This mega mansion built with detailed craftsmanship and abundance of luxe
features is all you'd ever need.
Hogan's custom built home also boasts views of the world renowned intercoastal
waterway and Clearwater pass to the Gulf of Mexico.
Hulk bought this property way back in 1992 for only $2 million,
but proceeded to demolish the original structure and build the home of his
dreams in its place.
This was completed in 1996 and it was no doubt the mansion we saw in his reality
show.
Hogan knows best.
Hogan's former estate was located in Bel Air,
Florida,
a gorgeous town right on the water.
The home featured a waterfront pool with a two tier waterfall set on a
flagstone terrace,
overlooking stunning views of sand key and Clearwater beach.
For those who get bored of the pool waterfall business can enjoy a number of
other amenities,
including an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area,
outdoor bar and entertainment system.
That's a pool party I would want to be at.
That's for sure.
This mega mansion does not mess around.
And there was also a guest department and boathouse to ensure a comfortable
luxury stay.
Even for guests.
Hulk's previous estate had over 1.5 acres of manicured landscaping with century
oaks and a gentle rolling lawn leading to the property's private beach front.
Here there was a dock with two boat lifts and parking with a lift for ski jets.
Inside the mansion boasted a warm and comforting environment and the gourmet
family kitchen was decked out with stainless steel appliances,
marble countertops and an Island perfectly centered.
In addition,
it featured an abundance of custom cabinets with an adjoining Butler's pantry.
There was also a comfy breakfast bar,
high exposed wood beam ceiling and spacious layout.
Next door was the dining area decked out in custom cabinets,
a cozy fireplace and elegant chandelier soaring overhead.
The design gives the homeowner and visitors a comfortable restaurant style
dining space away from whoever's cooking and doing the meal prep.
This one of a kind manor home was patterned after the look of Northern Bavarian
country homes.
There were ample living areas and each room was designed to feel open with an
inspiring style of luxury country living,
which made the estate truly unique especially for Florida.
Fireplaces are a common feature found inside of the home and there are a total
of five throughout.
Two lavish bedroom suites and a large private exercise room with an adjoining
glass enclosed spa is perfect for work hard and play hard lifestyle.
I mean with the size of this estate,
you would expect a large master bedroom and that is exactly where Hogan used to
lay his head.
His incredible two level former master suite featured a super large living area
of its own and private spare rooms were included as part of the oversized master.
In addition,
the master suite featured lavish furnishings yet another cozy fireplace,
Florida ceiling windows and walk-in closets big enough to be another room in
the home.
Connected to the bedroom is a grand en suite bathroom with a separate his and
hers bath that boasts spectacular views and a stand in shower.
The massive mansion even had a four bedroom guest apartment located over the
In addition,
the former Hogan residence has a few other goodies including a tanning salon,
indoor and outdoor hot tub,
a media games room decked out with leather furnishings,
greening room,
billiards and pool table,
wine cellar and a bar for those that fancy a cocktail.
When it came time to sell,
Hulk's home was originally listed for $26 million.
But like I said,
after more than one big price chop,
he finally accepted 6.2 million in April,
2012 for the home.
This was a big loss and $19 million less than the original listing price.
Despite the loss on that custom mega home,
Hulk decided to add to his real estate portfolio by purchasing a pair of homes
side by side.
The first in 2012 for $3.3 million and the second in 2016 for 1.6 million.
So much smaller than his Bel Air home,
the former features 5,000 square feet of space and boasts five bedrooms and
seven bathrooms.
In addition,
the home features a number of luxe amenities including an elevator,
fireplace,
a pool and two spas.
The home built in 2009 looks out on an open,
expansive,
secluded gulf beach front.
The home features easy indoor and outdoor flow with five balconies on the front
with two adjacent spiraling staircases perfectly centered.
In the back,
there's a pool,
spa,
outdoor barbecue area,
outdoor entertainment system and a web bar.
In addition,
there are glass sliding doors on the first floor that provide access to the
terrace and deck.
The second home Hulk acquired in 2016 for $1.6 million and it features a 2,000
square foot home with a beach front deck among the sand dunes and panoramic
views.
The exterior boasts rolling lawns,
manicured grounds and ample amounts of space with yet another sick backyard
setup.
The backyard features an additional spa,
outdoor entertainment area,
kitchenette and fire pit,
comfortable porch furniture and easy access to the ocean.
It looks to me that Hulk Hogan could easily connect the two and throw a giant
party.
It seems that these days this clear water property is where Hulk calls home.
All right,
so I think I'm going to bring our Hulk Hogan house tour to an end right here.
We got to take a quick look at the former wrestlers homes,
including the huge custom mansion he used to live in and his current side by
side homes in Clearwater,
Florida,
which are also impressive.
While his old mansion was a spectacle to say the least,
his two side by side beach homes aren't too shabby either.
That's a downsize I wouldn't complain too much about.
He's still right on the sand.
Personally,
I don't know which I would choose.
After checking out Hulk's homes,
