DIY Leather Pocket Quiver Build (Shatterproof Archery)

Hi, my name is Caleb Warren. I'm the leather specialist here at Shatterproof Archery. Today, I'm gonna be showing you guys how I make the pocket quiver. This is one of our most popular items that we have here as far as leather goes. All right, so this is one of the hardier leathers that we have, and this is what you want for something like a quiver. Get a scratch hole. I'm just gonna mark right above the die, and I'm not gonna cut the leather. I'm just gonna scratch it so that I can mark it and know where I need to cut. And then, with your hands free, you're just gonna move this leather down. There's that piece. So this is the front piece, what's going to be sewed to this here, and then that's what's gonna hold the arrows. The next piece that I'm gonna cut out is going to be this strip here. So now, I'll click that out. Just stamping out that pocket flap piece. Gonna turn on the heat press. I'm gonna slide this underneath. Just gonna move that leather down. This is what it's gonna look like. Throw on a stitch line on the back just for cosmetics of it, I guess you would say. So there's the back piece there. Make sure this is... But sometimes, I only like to do two, and then I can put the logo in. And at this point, I can now do the third. Attach the logo to the front panel. Now, if I haven't said already, this logo serves a purpose. It's gonna rest, this whole thing is gonna rest in your pocket, and this is gonna be on the outside of your pocket just to hold it in place. All right, so at this point, the pocket quiver is stitched up. I'm gonna hit this in real quick, burnish them real quick. All right, so next, we're gonna add the rivets, and burn that excess thread. All right, just gonna apply some soap. Make it look brand new. There we go. Now, it looks brand new because it actually is brand new because I just made it, so. You know, if you're wearing jeans, you don't really need a pocket quiver because you can just put these in, and then you're really good to go, you know? Aw, crap. Standard size for your pocket.
