Jan-Lennard Struff vs Frances Tiafoe For The Title | Stuttgart 2023 Final Highlights

First game yesterday but that's a nice clean strike off the forehand to start this service game beautifully redirected effortless was a brilliant return and an even better follow-up forehand and the first break of this final goes the way of the german couldn't get it away but the reaction skills of the net do get it done because he's comfortable up there so many players how calm was he there with the u's and the r's from the crowd the net called too and listen to the noise on center court again i mean he's just taking over the matches in tfo is almost constantly on the back foot that's brilliant from tfo because it was some return again from struth it's just so oh that's a wondrous return wasn't a bad second serve but all over it again it's a statement and it's you know oh and again adapting to the ball there's a little subtle adjustment that's nicely done to get it to dip over the net we've seen the power throughout this match for jan-leonard struth now we see the subtlety and the touch on the lock what a play this is and now it's love 30 for tfo he did a good job getting the return back and read the play from there on it plenty of time to find the open court with his full hat oh and he wasn't far away from making that he almost got it too cleanly that ball shot off ah that's a beauty of a return from tfo finds a precious first serve on that occasion though ninth ace of the set escapes just yet says francis tfo didn't seem to adjust to the spin on the ball tfo but does get it done that appeared to come right out the top of the racket reaching forward a bit good work closed in on the net but still able to find the delicate pass tfo as we've been saying he's just finding this has just been sensational tennis though from tfo oh my well that's a shot of the match deserving of a celebration outrageous from francis tfo so much to admire the athleticism this is a really good volley but he's quickly across the court that's a top draw set of tennis for francis tfo when you talk about mindset that is up there we're coming forward to counter punch it such control he generally hits a flat backhand but able to just breath let's go business on that occasion oh so good from tfo because that was a bazooka from struth but he's still able to pick it up and redirect it he's getting a little more joy here you are yeah there's going to be who's and yeah i mean in the past they've even a little different here in germany but they often show a lot of appreciation to the opposition yeah it's nice play here from struth it's another good volley it's a fantastic rally all round there's this time struth does get the volley right what a couple of volleys from jan-leonard struth a fresh amount and again you might say it's tfo with a bit more of the momentum with that love service hold extraordinary by far the longest rally of the match and struth stays alive in oh so well controlled from tfo he's been caught out just dragged a little too wide by that bouncing gear oh he's made that there's a little bit of noise at the mini break goes tfo's way what a way to incredible francis tfo is the champion in stuttgart and you have to say it was always going to take something special to get over the line as he breaks german hearts but rightly so the crowd responds to a quite sensational effort he will be a top 10 player on monday three two one go
