WASHER DRYER ALL IN ONE | Honest Review!! (Not Sponsored!) | GE UltraFast All-In-One Unit | Ventless

I don't ever do videos like this, but when I bought this washer dryer combo, I was desperately looking on YouTube, trying to see if I could find somebody giving an honest review that wasn't coming from the company. And because these are still so brand new, they did not exist. So I thought I'm going to go ahead and buy it because I really, really wanted to. And then once I have been using it for at least a month, I could get on here and share my review. So this is not sponsored. Nobody paid me for this. In fact, we were just shopping around trying to find the best deal. And we found the best deal at the time of our purchase was Best Buy. And I also wanted to mention that it was like $400 cheaper at Best Buy versus Lowe's and Home Depot. But then after we had had our unit for two weeks, almost two weeks, it went on sale for $1,000 less. So we called them and they actually refunded us the difference for the sale. There was a two week period where they said, as long as it's within this window, if it goes on sale, then we will refund you the difference. So they actually did, which just makes me love this even more. So just wanted to share that information with you because if you happen to purchase this and you find it go on sale within a few days up to two weeks, they will usually give you the credit for that and refund you as well. So let's talk about this whole washer dryer unit. Now, if you don't even know what the heck this is, this is a one and done unit, meaning when you stick your clothes in here, it will wash them, it will dry them. It does all of it at once. So all you have to do is stick your clothes in and then wait for them to be completely done. And I didn't realize how much I forget to load my dryer. For that reason alone, I would give this a 10 out of 10 because I am just so bad at remembering to load my clothes into the dryer. So sometimes my clothes will stay in the wash for an entire day and then they just end up smelling and then I have to run them through the cycle again. So I love that that doesn't happen with this unit. We were in the market looking for a stackable because I didn't know that these existed. Literally the week we were going to purchase one, we saw this at Lowe's and we could not believe it. We thought, no way, there's a machine that washes and dries. That's crazy. The price was a little bit much, but at the same time, if you buy a really nice washer dryer unit, it's usually about the same price. The deal that they have going on right now is $1,900. So to me, that is a crazy deal, you guys. There are washing machines that are just that alone and that's without the dryer. This machine will change your life. So some really cool features, this is actually operated by just a plug. You don't have to have the fancy plug a typical washer dryer would need. So it's just a three-prong plug and there's also no vent. This machine is completely ventless, which that is what blows people's minds so much. And it was actually that that officially sold me on this unit because we are in the middle of construction in this room right now and we are making this room a laundry room mixed with our pantry. And the thought of a vent, you know how it just gets kind of steamy and moist in a laundry room? That does not happen with this machine because there's no vent. If you're wondering why this area is so tall, that's because it has all this extra room for your soap dispenser and for your fabric softener. So in the soap dispenser, you can actually put 32 loads in at one time. And then it just does a smart dispense where when you hit play on your wash, it will automatically know exactly how much soap it needs based off of the weight of the clothes. So that alone is really cool. All you have to do, I've only had to fill this up one time. I still have not run out of soap. And when you download the app on your phone, it will let you know when it's starting to get low. It'll also let you know on the machine, but it will let you know on your phone like, hey, get some soap. You're running low. You only have a few loads left. So that's pretty cool. And it does the same thing with the fabric softener. You can also set it on your phone or on the machine to not use the fabric softener. Like you can switch it for each load if there are certain clothes that you don't want. You know, if you have delicates or you don't want certain things to maybe have the fabric softener on them, you get full control and it's really fun. This right here is how you pull out the lint. You just push this down and clear the lint off. You will notice way less lint with this machine. I've had to change it a few times is all. Where normally I'm changing it almost every time I run a load. There's just way less lint because of the way it dries your clothes. I also think it's saving the lifespan of your clothes because if you think of how much lint is coming off of your clothes when you use a regular dryer that has a vent, you have to think that is coming off of your clothes. So let's go through the whole cycle and how you use this machine. When you are ready to start your load, you will just click this power button and it will automatically just set it up to the regular cycle. So you can see here, this is just regular. If there's something else that you want, you can just click on one of these buttons. So normal, you can do delicates, towels. And what it's showing here is the estimated time of the entire cycle. So washing and drying. I will tell you towels usually take a little bit longer, especially if you have a lot of towels in there. I usually just wait and wash my towels at night because I don't care how long it takes. If I stick it in in the nighttime, I do not care if it takes a few hours for it to run. But again, it will just depend on the weight. That's really how the time is predicted. So you can wash your bedding. There's just all these different things. There's whites, quick cycle, active wear, rinse and dry. You can also shut off the dry if you just want to wash your clothes because let's say if it's normal and just do your wash, it's about 55 minutes because there's sometimes you don't want to dry something. So if that's the case, then you would just hit play and it will start. I also have right here, you can see these two lights. I have the smart dispense detergent on and the smart dispense softener. So you can control this on your phone. And then also right here, you can change the temperature, which I always have mine on cold. So if I'm just doing, let's do the wash and the dry, it's on normal. If I click on here, the temp, you'll see right here it says warm. So this will just control it. So now it says, you know, I usually will just do cold and then I hit play and that's how that works. You can also just do the spin cycle if that's what you want. So all of these are actual buttons. I just think, I don't know, it's kind of fun. You can see right here, my detergent is getting a little bit low. My fabric softener still looks really good. So it will show you right here on the screen. And the other cool thing is once I hit play, I will wash something here in a second, but once I hit play, you're going to see a blue and a purple light go around right here. And as the cycle is going, this light is slowly like getting closer and closer to the end. So you can see if you just glance in the laundry room, you will know exactly where your cycle is. If it's down here, plus it'll have the time right here, but it shows you right here on the ring. You will also be notified when there's five minutes left on the dryer. Now one question people ask a lot is how do I put a fabric sheet in? So you can actually set this up to notify you when the wash is about complete. You can come in here. There's a 10 minute break where you can actually just place a fabric sheet inside if you want to do that. I have actually not even used a single dryer sheet, which normally that's something I do every single time, but I just forget. So I haven't actually put a dryer sheet in here and it still smells really good. I mean, obviously if you're using fabric softener, you're going to get that. But if you are concerned about the whole dryer sheet, just know there is a timeframe you can come in here. Obviously if it's drying, if it's in the middle of the dry cycle, you can just stop it, throw it in and then hit play again. So at any point during the dry cycle, you can come in and add one of the dryer sheets. Let me show you the inside. So do you see how it lights up? That's pretty fun. Here is the inside of the drum. It really is the same size, if not a little bigger, I think, than the one that I used to have. So it is a large drum. And honestly, I love the fact that it completely dries each time because you have to think how gross our washing machines actually are. They're just wet all the time. And so the fact that this washing machine completely dries out every time, you'll never get that nasty moldy smell. You know, you'll never have to worry about the mold buildup inside of your washing machine. So it's automatically set up to the wash and dry. And I'm going to leave the temp just on warm because it's towels and I don't care. So now I'm just going to hit play. Oh, it's not closed. Sorry. There we go. Play. So you can see right here, it's thinking and it will weigh it and it'll tell me a real estimated time of how long it will take. When you download the app, this is what it will look like on your phone as the cycle is going. So you can see it's on the spin cycle. There's 107 minutes left. You can also set it right here to like wrinkle care, more dry. Maybe you want it to be a little bit more dry. If it's towels, sometimes I will do that. And then it'll also show you what the laundry soap looks like. Right now it's dispensing an auto. You can actually select it to do more if you want there to be more soap dispensed or less. So you have full control over that. And then you can see right here, I have used my machine 26 times. It'll show you how many times you can see. Like on this day I did two washes, one wash, one wash, two on this Sunday I did three loads. On this Thursday I did four. So you can see how many times I have used my machine, which I also think is pretty cool. And of course the best part is you will be notified when your cycle is done. It'll tell you five minutes before. I will also get a notification on my watch when it's five minutes away and when it's done. So as long as you have it set up to your phone, you will get notified in all the ways when your load is almost complete and when it's done. So my honest review for this machine is a 10 out of 10. I'm not kidding you. This is the best purchase I've ever made. I have zero regrets and I was a little bit worried just because again, this is so new. I don't know what other people's testimonies are about this unit. What if I hate it? That's like a big mistake, you know, like it's a pretty pricey mistake to make. I love this machine. I don't know how I lived without this machine. I love the fact that you put it in, it's done, there's no exchanging the soap. It makes it just so much easier. My life just feels easier with this machine. So I love it and I would recommend it to every single person who is considering purchasing it. For us, it was at Best Buy again at the time of purchase, which was right as they were rolling out, Best Buy had the best deals.
