Zion National Park: Angel's Landing

Okay, here we are day two Zion we just picked our permit up for the subway and we're doing tomorrow and Today we're planning on doing the angels landing, but it's really windy. It's colder than yesterday. There is a load of people here That's the line for the shuttle bus. So There's 40 mile an hour wind gusts we're gonna try angels landing I Don't know if we're gonna do it or not. We're gonna see how we feel We're gonna try and skip this line and hike up to the museum catch the shuttle bus from there So hopefully angels landing today. We got the permit for tomorrow for the subway. So that'll be cool It's like 40 degree water will be ankle-deep in that all day. So that'll be that'll be fun So we're geared up ready to go Well as you can see The museum is further than we thought it was so we're trying to hitchhike to the museum or another shuttle bus stop My wife said She said I should hang a different body part out I don't think I would stop for that either I don't really know. I think the museum is like really a lot further than we thought that's the first stop on the shuttle Oh, yeah, my faith in humanity is restored a kind gentleman picked us up And we're hitchhiking the back of the truck We don't have to wait in that long ass line for the shuttle bus because we're gonna go to a stop further up Catch the shuttle bus up that way like a boss See that's using your head that is using your head I'm a ridiculous adventuring fool. I'd be hitchhiking in national parks when there's a shuttle bus. I don't know shuttle bus what? Apparently this is the easy part But it's beautiful scenery nonetheless so Haven't got to the tough stuff yet The rest assured we do will be prepared for it Walters wiggles about this bunch of switchbacks to get up to there and then beyond Brutal Walter what was a wiggling mofo play that much Angels laying half a mile away from angels landing. So we've already done two miles The thing I thought was Walters Wiggles was not Walters Wiggles Try and get a shot of that so you can see the actual Wiggles. It was tougher than the switchbacks we did before Obviously the views amazing see this dead tree behind me, but the rest of it Still don't know which what Walters Wiggles was but I don't care. I made it to the top. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was. I have a feeling going down is gonna be tougher than coming up but Pretty sweet highly recommended
