It's Angel. Today I'm going to show you how to make a really delicious papaya drink,
along with a snack later. And the reason why I am using papayas is because I had a ton
of fresh papayas that were super ripe. So if you have ripe papayas at home,
it's definitely a good recipe to try. Now the drink I'm going to be making is Taiwanese papaya
milk. And in Mandarin, we call this 木瓜牛奶. Now this drink is kind of nostalgic for me
because when I was younger, I remember my grandfather in Taiwan taking me up to a street
vendor and him buying me a cup of papaya milk. And I thought it was so cool how you could just
walk up to the street vendor and in his little cart, there would be somebody making papaya milk
for people. So kind of a nostalgic moment for me. And that's why whenever I see ripe papayas,
I will want to make myself a glass of papaya milk. So let's get started. I am going to be
making the papaya milk first. And then in my next video, I will be showing you how to make
the snack to go with it. For this recipe, we'll need three simple ingredients. One cup of milk,
half a cup of papaya cubes, frozen. And finally, totally optional, but I like to add it. I've got
half a tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk. I find that it gives it that nice kick and
sweetness to it. Once we have all the ingredients ready, we can go ahead and start blending.
I've got half a cup of papaya. I'm just going to put that in my blender.
Next, our milk. And finally, the sweetened condensed milk. Okay, once it's blended really
well, go ahead and just put it in a serving glass. Whipped cream is optional. You can also
add boba to it, but I kind of like it plain and we're going to have a snack later. So there you
have it. Pretty easy, huh? Taiwanese papaya milk. And I am going to be pairing this with a delicious
mid-afternoon snack. So keep watching for my next video. Bye!
