So we just got to our next destination for three nights.
It's really cool. Here's our little ripper.
And we're staying on a houseboat for a couple of nights.
I'm so down.
I'm struggling you.
I'm gonna give you all my love.
And I ain't gonna let you down.
I'm so down.
All I need here, give it up.
Um, we've got like, it's really, it's like pretty, ow.
It's pretty small, but like, it's like, we'll get the job done.
We've got a nice bed here.
Like that.
We've got some mattresses that we're gonna stay in.
The bathroom.
Kitchen.
Over here is like that.
Like doors out here.
And it's in like the Noosa River.
And we are going, like, we just went for a quick,
screw it, screw it, boat ride to this really nice little island place.
We're gonna definitely go there sometime or another when we're on the boat.
And I drove the boat there.
Um, but also, I can drive.
Sorry, Dad.
I can legally drive that little boat that they left.
So, when my parents are drunk at the Yacht Club,
I just go and pick them up.
Anyway, it's really nice.
I really like it.
Well, first fish of the trip.
Nice little brim off the back of the houseboat.
Here he is, little fella.
Not quite dinner, but.
Let him go.
It's a start.
I'll let him go.
We've just been chilling on the houseboat.
Just fishing.
Ew.
He's swimming off.
No fish were harmed in this video.
Using prawns.
Just been chilling.
Not really doing much.
I kind of want to learn to drive that boat, so I might.
If you see me over there drifting down a river,
that's because I don't know how to use the boat.
Can I drive the boat, Dad?
How do I do it?
Here's Liv attempting to start her first tiller steer.
How do I do it?
Look at the power she's got.
You've just got to pull it hard.
See where you put the key in?
That little black.
Pull it out.
No, the black thing beside it.
Pull it out.
Yep, now try it.
That's a choke.
Give it a.
Wait up.
On your throttle.
Give it a bit more throttle.
Yeah.
Maybe push the choke in now.
Put the throttle on full.
Yeah, try that.
When do I just start going?
Go.
Eh?
I'll start going.
No, you won't.
It's not in your gear.
Now turn it down.
Hey, there we go.
It's going.
You're not going anywhere.
What?
Not yet without me in there.
Get in.
No, not yet.
Get in.
Now turn it off.
No, get in.
I can't.
I got on my rope.
No, you don't know how to turn it on and off.
Turn it off.
Now you turn it off.
She worked that out all by herself.
Lesson number one.
Lesson number two coming later.
I'm going for a swim.
A little mobile.
I like to call it my mobile because I can help.
So I can actually drive it legally.
I can drive that boat, but illegally.
Well, not illegally.
I can't drive it by myself.
It's illegal to drive it with my dad on.
I just need to get a boat license.
Which hopefully I can get when I'm 16.
Can I get my boat license?
Okay.
I'll go show my dad if I can start it.
He'll think about taking me out.
Meet you up in the boat.
And then you have to do a tour of...
Oh, yeah, a tour.
I can't do it right now.
Because I'll run into the houseboat.
You'll see my view of my dad looking like a sick lad.
So I am on this little tinny.
I can legally drive it by myself.
But my dad's going to come on the first boat
because we don't want to crash into any $10,000 boats.
And, yeah.
So my dad's going to come on right now.
Right, dad?
He's coming on right now.
And I'm going to try to drive it.
I can drive our little little car pretty well.
But I've never driven one of these kind of boats before.
So, yeah.
We're on the boat.
My dad's driving.
I'm going to go soon.
But he's just seeing how the boat goes.
We're a little butt heavy.
The nose is pretty up.
Can I go now?
Yeah.
Okay.
We're going that way.
Hot speed.
Where are we going?
I don't know.
You're going to crash.
I know.
I told you.
Hey, you're my mate.
Well done.
You're a good brother.
So I just drove the boat.
I had a few mishaps.
I crashed into my dad's boat.
I crashed into the houseboat.
But then in the end I got it and I was going smoothly.
And I didn't crash into anything for my last couple rounds.
I just did laps around here and out over there.
Dad got another fish.
Dad caught another fish?
That's three.
I just did the root finger.
I just said three.
Sorry, guys.
Didn't mean to flick you off there.
Anyway.
My brother got his peas.
Yeah.
He just did his test and he just got his peas.
We got a flatty.
We got a flathead.
Now my brother can take me everywhere I want to go.
We just had a swim.
And now we're going to go pick up the rest of the fam.
Hi, Dad.
Hello.
We're going to pick up the rest of the family because they've been out.
Because my brother has had his driving test and he got his peas.
So that's exciting.
But we're just going over now.
Finn just got his license today.
This is his first solo drive.
Crashed.
Crashed what?
The boat.
No.
The little titty thing we've got.
Oh, wonderful.
Into the boat, into this boat.
And into the houseboat as well.
But then I got the hang of it.
I was going to drive it over here, but probably would have crashed into like a million dollar one.
Maybe the yacht club, I don't know.
How far down is it?
Oh, it's just here, guys.
I'll show you how long.
Oh.
That's all right.
That's our little couple of days.
Three nights.
Pretty cute.
A little couch.
We've got a barbecue.
A BBQ.
We've got my bed, which I claim is Finn's bed.
Kitchen.
It's not very big, but we can make do.
It's fine.
It's awesome.
It is.
It's a little shack.
Finn's bed.
Because I claimed the big one.
This is lovely.
And then come out here.
The kitchen's huge.
This is where it crashed the boat into here.
Don't.
And then you come out here.
There's another corner.
If it gets in trouble.
It's so cool.
It's pretty sweet.
Finn went for a splash.
Drive.
Driver.
Yep.
This is cool.
Boys are going to have to have some good aim.
Finn, good aim.
Neighbours had a little hissy fit at them.
And went all Karen and started yelling at us.
And that they're going to call the police.
So we might be getting the police called on us.
They got their binoculars out.
