Let's talk transfers.
Our chief reporter at Cardiff Solar College is back with us.
Aston Villa have already added Paul Torres,
Uri Tillermans, and now another name could be on the way.
Yeah, they're very close to agreeing a deal
to sign Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
Sky Germany have been doing a lot of the legwork
on this story over the past few days,
reporting the ins and outs, but Villa are close now.
And I think the fee is going to be potentially
if you take into account all the add-ons and bonuses,
it will almost certainly be a club record deal for Villa
if it is agreed.
Our information is that it has not been agreed yet.
Now, Diaby is one of the most sought-after wingers
in European football at the moment.
He's been playing very well for Leverkusen.
He is only 24 years old.
It's expected that he'll sign a five-year deal at Aston Villa
and significantly, surprise, surprise,
Saudi clubs were also interested in signing him.
Al Nasser made a big move to sign him,
but I don't think he felt it was right
at this point of his career to move to Saudi Arabia.
It would be, on paper, a fantastic signing for Aston Villa
if it is done and completed.
And according to reports in France as well,
lots of reports in France this morning
that Villa are also interested in the Rennes winger,
Jeremy Doku, as well.
So Unai Emery appears to be doing lots of early,
good business in the transfer window.
And also, Monchi appears to be making his mark at the club.
Yeah, and of course, Emery would have known of Diaby before
because when he was at PSG, Diaby was in the system as well,
so there's a connection there.
But important to say, it is not done yet.
No.
We can say it's close, but it's not done.
Okay, all right, for the moment again, thank you, Kaveh.
