Hi guys, I just woke up.
I actually usually wake up earlier than 8, but last night was an anxiety night for me,
meaning that when I tried to go to bed, I had really bad intrusive thoughts as I was
trying to fall asleep, and whenever that happens, I have to just keep getting up and going on
my phone for a minute and trying to distract myself, so.
I didn't go to bed until like 1, and I usually go to bed at 11, so that was not fun at all.
After my skincare, my face is all wassy looking.
I come into my room, do a quick morning journaling, and I make my plan for the day.
Also, I kind of wanted to add that it can be really hard to figure out how to implement
all the healthy habits that you want to implement into your life.
It can just be difficult to figure out what order to do things, and this is the order
that I've deemed the most productive for me, like doing my skincare, doing journaling,
doing morning stretching, taking supplements, making breakfast and tea, all of the things
that I would kind of want to do in the morning that are good for overall wellness and well-being.
In the morning, I use two journals.
One is the gratitude journal.
I'll show you what some of the prompts are.
As you put the date, and then it has a little quote, and it has you write three things that
you're grateful for, three things that would make today great, which that always makes
me reflect because I'm like, what would make today great?
And then a daily affirmation, I am blank.
And sometimes it's like hard to think of something, but I'll just write something.
I use this one, which is just like a blank, you know, notebook type of thing to make my
schedule for the day.
And I'll show you how I do that.
This is the really simple way that I set up my daily to-do list.
I just write the date up here, make a checklist on the side, and I will add to it throughout
the day if I think of something else.
And I will pick a highlighter color and just come back up to my room throughout the day
as I finish these things and check them off.
I also like to say I do not go on my phone right when I wake up.
It can lead to you basically like staying in bed for way longer than you want to and
losing a lot of productivity time.
And it's just bad for your brain to get that much input, especially if you're looking at
social media and stuff in the morning.
So I will like check my phone for a second, like check my texts for like literally one
second and then just get up and I listen to music in the morning or I will listen to a
podcast.
My favorite podcast is All Things Universe with Han, but she doesn't make them super
often so I will listen to them whenever a new one comes out or I listen to a high vibe
playlist.
Just music that will make me kind of uplifted and in a good mood.
The grass is very wet.
She does not want to walk on it.
It is amazing for your body and your brain to get like 10 minutes of sun in the morning.
So every day this summer, every day that it's like nice outside, I just go and like sit
on the grass.
Just like lay in the grass, sit in the grass, walk around the grass and stand in the sun
for like 10 minutes as silly as it sounds.
And it's great.
It's amazing.
It's just really nice and do some of my little morning stretches.
I drink a lot of water throughout the day.
So I try to put some trace mineral drops or like a little bit of sea salt in my water
so that it helps me absorb it better.
And because this is filtered water, I want to add back in some of the minerals that is
now missing.
And then before I eat my breakfast, I take my methylfolate supplement.
This is methylfolate and B12.
I love the brand Mary Ruth's because a lot of them are organic.
They're all vegan.
It's just pretty amazing.
So vitamin C is just like a great immunity thing.
I take vitamin D.
This is the Mary Ruth's.
It's K2 ND3.
I did a blood test a few months ago with a new doctor.
And that doctor, he printed out all of my blood results and showed them to me and like
really went over them with me.
He showed me all of the numbers that were like on the cusp of being problematic.
Because usually before that, my doctors have always just been like, yeah, everything looks
good.
Everything looks good.
They never showed me that.
But we found a lot of things in my blood that I now am able to like focus on and hone in
on.
I found that I was really, really, really low in vitamin D, which most people that live
in like a colder climate are.
So I've been taking vitamin D ever since because like, why wouldn't I do that?
Because if they just tell you like everything looks good, they won't really bring things
to your attention.
If they're like close enough to being normal, like they just usually don't care that much.
So you have to take it into your own hands.
That is why I take the supplements that I do.
Last thing is Brazil nuts.
We just ran out of Brazil nuts.
But if you eat two Brazil nuts a day, it's your full daily dose of selenium.
Pretty amazing.
So I have been starting to eat two Brazil nuts a day, just two.
Now it's time for breakfast.
My breakfast, some matcha green tea.
While I eat, I'm going to read some of the book I'm currently reading, which is The Song
of Achilles.
And I also wanted to mention, I do like to take a daily probiotic.
It's the Garden of Life Once Daily Women's Probiotic.
It lasts like a class, but it's a six credit virtual field camp going on through the month
of July.
So it's like almost halfway over actually, because it's July 14th now.
But it's definitely a lot of work.
Probably going to be my focus of today.
I think I will get ready a little bit, do some homework, and then do a workout kind
of just before lunch.
I know a lot of people like working out first thing in the morning, right when they wake
up.
But I can't work out on an empty stomach.
So I like to work out just before lunch, where I've eaten breakfast, my food has had like
a few hours to digest.
And then just before I eat lunch, I'll do a workout.
And it just works out perfectly for me like that.
I'm going to do some light makeup and continue listening to this podcast that I was in the
middle of.
So I just finished my makeup and got dressed.
And I still like to kind of get ready, even if I'm just like at home, because it kind
of makes me feel more productive and feels better than just like sitting around in sweats
all day.
Now I'm going to go downstairs, unfortunately, and try to do some homework.
Even though I'm dreading it.
This class is terrible.
I don't want to say that, but like it's really a lot of work.
So I'm going outside to do my workout.
Trying to get the best angle I can.
So I always love doing Lydia Mara.
I think that's how you say her name's workouts.
They're really good Pilates workouts.
She just posted a new one that's an arm workout.
So I'm going to do this one first and I'll probably do like a quick butt workout at the
end.
Okay, the workout is all done.
I'm tired.
I'm a little sweaty and hot because I was in the sun, but I'm going to go make some
lunch now because I am super hungry.
I really hope you enjoyed this video.
Yeah, thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my next one.
Bye guys.
