Ready to go!
We are around 40 minutes away from Prato, Sur Ostelvio.
That is the town where I will start the flight.
That's where the climb to the Paso de Ostelvio starts.
Today, an emotional ride.
It's been a dream for a long time to do a ride in the Alps.
And I know it will be difficult.
I have never done anything like this, so I don't know how hard it is.
It's not a long one, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm very excited.
Okay, good.
It's a big trek.
With all the directions.
Halfway, you start seeing the top.
Okay, I'm leaving.
Kilometer zero.
Just leaving Prato, Sur Ostelvio.
Let's see how it goes.
Five miles since the beginning.
And I've done almost 43 minutes.
And it's beautiful.
When the stadium is full, the sky is full.
It's a beautiful world.
And hello mom, look how fun it is.
Hello mom, look how fun it is.
It was not easy, but you made it.
Yeah.
Yes, daddy!
That is the last helping turn there.
I had to stop at cramps in my leg.
And wow, this is going to be just a little bit.
Just the last one.
At least one looks good.
Thank you.
I live in Texas.
We are working together for one client.
Thank you.
Well, let's say I'm very happy.
I'm delighted.
It's great.
I doubted a little bit a couple of times.
Especially at the beginning because I felt quite tired.
And I knew it was just the beginning.
So I thought, wow, if I'm this tired in the beginning, it's going to take a while.
But then I settled and it was OK.
And then just like with two or three kilometers to reach the top,
my legs were cramping and I thought that could be it.
Because with cramps it's really hard to pedal at low cadence.
But I managed, I stopped, stretched and made it to the top.
So good.
If I hadn't driven that myself, I would have said that was a waste of money.
However, having driven that, you can get a jersey he earned it.
I'll show you.
This was a great dinner.
Best pizza I've had here, 100%.
And their breadsticks are really good.
Buonanotte.
Yes, right now we're starting to finish up.
It's been...
seven hours since we...
finished up.
Six.
