Multi-Species BASS Fishing (Camp and Cook)

Well ladies and gentlemen, it looks like we have the lake to ourselves. What up? It is a pretty overcast today, a little rainy, but I think it'll be a good day for fishing, especially having the lake to ourselves. It's been a while since I've made a video for you guys, endurals, ladies and gentlemen, but I'm going to try to get as much footage as I can. Ooh, that was juicy. Let some of that water hit my bald head. Tanner's got a tank. Big boy. During that storm front, dude, they were eating yesterday. They were eating good house. Nice color to her, too. Nice long one, dude. Nice four out hook here. Do it right in there. Oh, I don't like doing this. Just barely. You suck this up all the way to the top. Flip it around. Just stab it through the body. Actually, I didn't hook it quite. There we go. That'll be better. Boom. Not quite through the middle, but it should work. He's a little doink. There's got to be one here at this corner somewhere. I just kind of want to be here. Oh, he picked it up right in front of the water. Second on the day. A little upgrade from the last one. A little bit bigger. Yeah, there's these nice little weed mats right on the very edge. You cast right on the very edge of them, the outer edge of them. Let this sink a little bit and twitch it. Hold on. Hold it up. I'm up. He just picked it up. Picked it up. He's not a problem. He's got a gut. They were straight up smacking bait yesterday. I mean, I'm talking bluegill fighting for deer life. Fight, flight, or freeze, bro. Look at that. It's like a mini deer. Yeah. Look at that little gut. He's got a square belly. Look at that little gut. Uh-uh. Looks like he's got to take a chance. Like with those basket-fattened squares. He picked it up right away. Yes, sir. He got off, bro. Well, ladies and gentlemen, my GoPro batteries are dead, so we're probably going to get a little bit more footage before the sun goes down. We head back to our campsite and start firing stuff. But caught a couple nice fish today. With it being overcast and such, I didn't charge all my GoPro batteries. So, yeah, they're all pretty much dead, but we're going to head back in here in about 20 minutes. Back to camp, start a fire, cook up some food, and we'll see what tomorrow brings. Chunk, dude. Nando. Andy. Cold. Oh, yeah, baby. Got some bacon going. Andy cutting taters over there. Going to make some burritos. Put a little J-Dubs on there, a little J-Basco. Juicy little boy. A little bit of that J-Dubs. Oh, yeah. Got a nice crisp on her. J-Dobo's kind of choking me up. Yeah. Oh. What up? Turn that bottle upside down. That's the way to do it. Get all that love on the bottom. Shit's kind of chunky, honestly. I should have stopped and got eggs and cheese. I was going to bring those, like, a couple Velveeta slices, but I'm like, if they're going to be sitting in my car, they're just going to warp together. They're going to melt and be all gross. I saw a picture of how he ferments the habaneros for this stuff. Yeah. I'm going to get big old, big old jars full of them. Whole habaneros. J-Baski. So, Andy and I were just loading our kayaks up, got done eating breakfast, and we were about to push out onto the water. All of our stuff are in kayaks. I pulled a typical, typical A-Town move. Like, yeah, I kind of got to poop. Andrew's like, well, you might as well go, dude. Typical Austin. He's like, yeah, I know. So, here we are. Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. And we're off. Andy's already got a nice one. Is that a jerk bite fish? I'll zoom in on that for you guys. Nice. Andy said the original royale with cheese. Serving it up hot. What up? So, we've been out here on the lake for about, I don't know, three hours. Switched baits like five or six times. Not a single fish. I mean, I did get one to the kayak, but he got him. So, I don't really care about that. Andy, Andy's cotton. I don't know, probably three or four nice fish. It's been pretty slow this morning. But, what do you see behind me? This little, this little back channel here usually produces fish. So, that's what I'm going to be trying next. I got a, I got a popper on right now. But, we'll see how she goes. Boom. Get this paddle out of the way. You see this boy does the trick. She's pretty heavy, but this thing always produces fish. Always. I catch at least one fish when I'm using this paddle. At least one fish. There it is. Yep. Money. Boom. Oh, he's running right towards me. Oh, he spit it. How do you spit a whopper? Whopper. Dude, that last one I caught before I swam. Oh, that's a nice smallie, dude. Good color. It's really long, dude. Look how long that thing is. Skinny and long, boy. I don't even know if I've ever caught a smallie out of here. Only largies. Bad smallie, man.
