What's going on? I'm Nick from Inoculation.
And I'm Anthony from Inoculation. And here are some of our tour tips.
All right. Tip number one.
Tip number one I think is one of the most important ones.
Throw your socks and boxers away after every use.
Just buy new socks and boxers from Walmart when you need them.
They're not that expensive.
You don't need a bag of dirty socks and dirty boxers stinking up the whole van.
Unless you know you can do some laundry. I mean,
I've been getting away with doing laundry here and there.
But yeah, you got to throw them away. Get them out of there.
Bad ones. Just bring all your bad stuff on tour with you so you can get rid of it
and come home with new stuff.
I mean number two I would say was making sure you're staying hydrated by,
you know,
making sure you get some gallons of water are perfect because you can usually
get deals and you get a lot. It's good for waking up.
Like as someone who get the racks, absolutely. Yeah.
Like a rack of water or gallons. Like I hate, I'm not a morning person.
I hate getting up early, but you have to get up early on tour. So like for me,
even drinking coffee and energy drinks, it makes my body move,
but my mind's still a little bit behind, you know,
and it's cause I'm dehydrated and like literally hydrating yourself.
As soon as you wake up, it's going to help you play better. It's going to,
you know, you're gonna be sweating on stage.
If you're touring in the summer, you're sweating all the time.
Or if you're in the South or something. So, you know,
making sure you have good liquid intake is really important to staying healthy
too. I mean, feeling good and smelling not like crap and feeling like crap.
So yeah, that's a big one for me.
Another one is if you're going to avoid having a trailer,
avoid it at all costs. That's what we do.
Helps with like parking a lot. Big time.
Just like it's way less annoying driving around.
Sometimes tolls are way more expensive when you have a trailer. So.
And I mean, sometimes that means like you're a little bit more cramped, but.
Yeah. I mean, yeah. You got to do what you got to do to get by.
Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Another one is find your truck stop gas station that you like.
Get that rewards card. Get all your, your free,
granola bar with a cup of coffee, the five cents off a gallon.
Shout out to pilot flying J,
letting us sleep in their parking lots like every single night. Yeah.
Yeah. It's, it's important. Cause you know, you're away from home.
I mean, you got to have a place where you walk in every, you know,
a home away from home, pilot flying J. Yeah, totally.
And then the last one, if you're bringing a merch guy,
bring somebody that you like and you know, and you trust.
So you're not dealing with somebody that's annoying as hell.
And then you're stuck with them or that you've got to kick them off halfway
through your tour or something like that. Yeah. Bring your boy.
That wants somebody that would be someone you would invite into the band if you
needed a member of the band pretty much. Cause that's what they pretty much are.
They're on the road with you. They're, you know,
life's sucking as much as yours is or whatever you want as much as it could.
So, you know, make sure you got a trustworthy merch person. Yes.
