Wat Chai Watthana Ram
Wat Chai Watthana Ram was declared a National Heritage Site on March 8, 2014.
And due to the contribution of the artists, it has been preserved to this day.
Wat Chai Watthana Ram has revealed the beauty of the past and the greatness of the temple
with the art of building a building that is not like other temples in Ayutthaya.
Although the time and location of the site will change,
the beauty of the temple still appears clearly.
Wat Chai Watthana Ram is an old temple in the province of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River off the Ayutthaya city,
at the top of the Pong village, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District,
formerly called Wat Chai Ya Ram and Wat Chai Chana Tha Ram.
It was a royal temple during the Ayutthaya period,
built during the reign of King Prasatthong in the year 2173
to offer to be the king, the sun of the king and the glory of the king
who has the victory over the Khamen.
Another important feature of this temple is that it is the burial ground of Phra Dhamma Thibet,
Phra Kung, the leader of Ayutthaya at the end.
This time, the organizer has created a three-dimensional model
Wat Chai Watthana Ram in the Ayutthaya period
to reflect the beauty and grandeur of this Wat Chai Watthana Ram
by having this model.
The model of the construction of Wat Chai Watthana Ram in the reign of King Prasatthong
The model of the construction of Prang Prathan
Prang Prathan is located in the central area of Wat Chai Watthana Ram
The model is Prang Chaturamukha
It is located on a high Thaksin base
The base of Prang is a three-storey Bua Luak Phak base
It has a staircase up to all four sides of the temple
In the part of the temple on the east side, there will be a passage to the temple
The top of the Prang is a lotus flower
It is similar to the Prang in the early Ayutthaya period
The model of the construction of Prang Bariwan
Prang Bariwan is a small Prang that is located around Prang Prathan
There are a total of four Prangs on the same Thaksin base as Prang Prathan
The lower part of the Prang is a three-storey Bua Luak Kaew Okkai base
The middle part is a four-storey Thaksin house
The top part is a six-storey Thaksin house
The shape is more curved than Prang Prathan
The model of the construction of Meruthit Merurai Rabiangkot
Merurai is located in the middle of Meruthit
Meruthit is located in all four corners
Located around Prang Prathan in the 8th direction
The shape is a square-shaped Prang
There is a Rabiangkot connecting between Meruthit and Meruthit
It is a building around Prang Prathan in the four-square plan
It is considered to be a special model monument
Which was built as a religious site
Found only at Wat Chai Watthanaram
The model of the construction of Phra Ubo Sot
Phra Ubo Sot is located on the east side of Rabiangkot
Currently, only the main base remains
It is a square-shaped brick base
There is a front and back corner
Located on the slope
Which is the Bua Luak Kaew Okkai base
Raise the floor level higher
There is a stairway up the slope front and back
Each side has two stairs
There is a round glass wall
There is a building with a bird's nest
The model of the construction of the 12th corner
The 12th corner has the same shape
And has the same size
Left and right
Located in front of Phra Ubo Sot
Which is believed to be the place of worship
Phra Atthip, Phra Rajamanda
And Phra Rajavida of King Prasatthong
When looking at the 3-dimensional model
Of Wat Chai Watthanaram
In the time of Krungsri Ayutthaya
Will see that
Wat Chai Watthanaram
Considered to be an ancient site that is very beautiful
Represents the prosperity of culture
Art of design
And economy in the time of Krungsri Ayutthaya
So I want the younger generation
Together preserve the ancient site
And have the beauty of Thailand
To maintain the image of the old age to visit and explore
