Now we've got some news just in here on Sky Sports News and it actually relates to another
manager who has links to Chelsea and that is former Chelsea boss Graham Potter.
It's a year ago today actually since Thomas Tuchel got sacked and Graham Potter was of
course the man that came in to replace him.
Nothing's happened at Chelsea in that year, it's been so quiet.
But Graham Potter has actually turned down the chance to return to management with league
un-club Lyon.
Now they are really struggling in that league at the moment.
They're currently bottom and they're looking for a possible replacement for Laurent Blanc.
Now Laurent Blanc is still the manager but Graham Potter has said no.
He says they're not the club for him right now.
It's thought Lyon will perhaps now turn their attentions to current Lyon boss Paolo Fonseca
and also Julian Lopetegui who of course left Wolves only a month ago.
We'll have more on that as and when we get it but Graham Potter has turned down Lyon
it seems.
On Potter, I think that's not for me to tell him what to do, I think that's a good decision
because Graham Potter's stock was so high at Brighton, it took a bit of a knock at Chelsea.
Why take over a team that are struggling in league un because if you take another job
which is, if you take another team that you can't lift up the table, your stock drops
even further.
So it's important that he picks the right job.
Yeah, he has to make the right decision now doesn't he but yeah he's turned down Lyon
so it'll be interesting to see whether other clubs look to Graham Potter now that he's
available and now that it looks like he's potentially looking for a club and to get
back into management.
But as I said we'll have more on that.
He's a good manager.
