(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights Empoli - Juventus
Corner, swung in, Fabio's header just a little tame,
Berisha punches away, it's still alive and Danilo heads in.
Foul given against the Brazilian and the Juventus captain.
Giovanni Airoldi took his time to give the foul.
Surely one of these corners is going to pay off.
It's bobbling around.
Bremer, this time Danilo won't be denied.
And it's the captain who leads the way for the Bianconeri.
It's been coming.
Empoli have been playing themselves into trouble
and those travelling supporters
gleefully watch their team take the lead and the Castellani.
Lovely threaded ball.
McKennie, Gatti, Gatti goes down, penalty awarded.
Mala may have just clipped Gatti.
Big moment in the game.
Juventus could be out of sight before halftime.
They're not going to be.
It's a brilliant save by Berisha.
What a way to announce yourself to your new supporters.
Danilo, Chiesa, Chiesa, wonderful.
And he just lacked the finish, Chiesa.
What a piece of skill from Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa wants support.
Vladovic, Pogba.
Celebrations muted and halted
for an offside position of Dusan Vladovic.
Chiesa, Milik, Milik.
He's picked out Chiesa.
Chiesa, surely beautiful by Chiesa if he can stay on his feet.
Chiesa slots it home.
And that is a goal that he does deserve, Federico Chiesa.
It embodies all of his tenacity
and it rewards an excellent performance here.
Wea, Wea, Milik.
Clatters against the crossbar.
Destro, Destro.
Very nearly something special from Mattia Destro.
Ken, Ken still and off the post once more.
Final score the Carlo Castellani, Empoli nil, Juventus two.
