Russell Brand ACCUSED Of Assaulting Women... He RESPONDS Instantly!

Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. How's everybody doing? My name is Anthony Brian Logan and today we got to talk about some allegations of assault against women that have been levied against Russell Brand. Now, you guys probably know who Russell Brand is. He's been around for quite a long time. He was in Hollywood. He was an onstage comic, a movie star. He did a little bit of everything. But as of late, he's gone in the Joe Rogan direction, doing podcasts, not really being left or right, kind of being in the center affair person. Like I say, in the Joe Rogan, Bill Maher, he exists in that kind of lane. I personally like his stuff. I think he's a good YouTuber, podcaster. I like what he does. But out of the blue came these allegations and I'm like, okay, what's going on? Where did this come from? Now, I'm not saying the allegations are false or true. They're just allegations. But again, the question I had immediately was, where is this coming from? Because Russell Brand gets a little bit too close to some really hot button issues. And you got to think, because we've seen this before, Brent Kavanaugh. We've seen this before, Clarence Thomas, where somebody is trying to get to a high level and they're going to be influential and then there are false allegations levied against them. Now, before we get into anything, let's just take a look at this particular article. We're not going to read this entire thing right here. But first of all, this picture, I mean, what in the world? Trying to make God look as menacing as possible. We got the black on white, then a different colors on it. I mean, just say you think he did it without saying you think he did it. Talk about journalism being activism at the same time. But look at this. This is I'm not sure what his website is. The Times UK, Russell Brand accused of sexual assault, abuse for women, including one who was just 16. Make allegations after an investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times in China for dispatches. So are you telling me that these newspapers launched an investigation, Russell Brand, and then from the investigation, they were able to find four women who accused him of doing something? Why must a newspaper launch an investigation to find accusers? Wouldn't that be a job of the police? Why is it a newspaper collaborative effort to find these women? What prompted this? I've never heard of a newspaper launching a report to find victims of a crime. I've never seen that before in my life. That's really weird. But anyway, let's get into the video. This is really, I don't want to say surprising, but refreshing. It's not necessarily surprising because Russell Brand is a very outspoken person. But it's refreshing because normally, when there's allegations like this, people say, well, talking to my lawyer, I don't want to say anything. I don't want to jeopardize myself. I got to find people to back me up. He went straight to the camera immediately. Like before I saw the actual article, I saw his response. So instantly, he responded to the allegations. But without further ado, let's go ahead and roll it. Hello there, you awakening wonders. Now, this isn't the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption, because in this story, I am the news. I've received two extremely disturbing letters or a letter and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like my community festival should be stopped, I shouldn't be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel. But amidst this, let's pause right there. So Russell Brand attacks mainstream media, a lot of the narratives, a lot of things that they want us to believe and think. So these allegations appear to be a way to silence him because he said, hey, I'm getting letters talking about I shouldn't be able to do that anymore. Well, is it about the victims and trying to find justice for them, or is it about trying to say that he cannot speak the way he wants to speak anymore? I mean, what is it about? Because I think one thing should trump the other, you know, human beings and being victims and finding justice or a guy on the Internet talking, which one is more important? Obviously, we know which one is more important to some people. But let's continue any of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies and as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous. Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that, then almost too transparent. And I'm being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play? Now, let's pause right here now about his transparency. Are they taking things that he has said, things that he admitted to publicly and then using that as, I guess, quote unquote, evidence for their finding mentioned? It's like, OK, here's a bread crumb. He gave us his bread crumb. He said he did X, Y and Z and he was dealing with this person and that person in this particular place. And he did things this way. Let's use that information to launch an investigation and then find some dirt. Is that what's going on? I'm not saying it is. I'm just asking the question. Let's keep on going. Particularly when we've seen coordinated media attacks before, like with Joe Rogan, when he dared to take a medicine that the mainstream media didn't approve of. And we saw a spate of headlines from media outlets across the world using the same language. I'm aware that you guys have been saying in the comments for a while, watch out, Russell, they're coming for you. You're getting too close to the truth. Russell Brand did not kill himself. I know that a year ago there was a spate of articles. Russell Brand's a conspiracy theorist, Russell Brand's right wing. I'm aware of news media making phone calls, sending letters to people I know for ages and ages. It's been clear to me, or at least it feels to me like there's a serious and concerted agenda to control these kind of spaces and these kind of voices. And I mean, my voice along with your voice. I don't mind them using my books and my stand up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very serious criminal allegations. Also, it's worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct. Apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack. Now, I don't want to get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations. But I feel like I'm being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together. We are obviously going to look into this matter because it's very, very serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake. But more important than any of that, if you can, please stay free. Well, there you have it. There you have it. Again, these are allegations. I'm not saying they're true. I'm not saying they're false. These are just allegations. But I will say one thing as I close. It's pretty convincing to have someone go in front of a camera and say, I did not do it. These are false allegations. They're using this, that and the third as quote unquote evidence against me. I have witnesses that are going to refute what's being said. That's convincing because normally, again, if somebody is in that same situation, they want to kind of say, you know, talk to my lawyer. I don't want to talk about it. I'm not going to address it. They try to ignore it. Even when they didn't do anything, they don't want to incriminate themselves. The last thing you want to do in that situation, if there's any way you could be in some kind of way guilty or even if you're innocent, is go in front of a camera. But going in front of a camera and disputing it to me, that really means a lot. But I think I'll leave that right there for now. And what say you? But I think there is something going on, because if what he said is true about getting a letter or email talking about, oh, you shouldn't be talking about certain things anymore. Is it about trying to find the victim's justice or is it about trying to silence him? I think we can see what's going on here for the most part, allegedly.
