(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Everton - Arsenal

The error spotted the run of Martinelli who's through and goal and a clinical finish to match as well. Gabriel Martinelli with his first goal of the season and didn't he take it well. They will be checking though for a possible offside. This is what they're looking at. Nketiah was in an offside position. Mikhalenko was the deepest defender and it's Nketiah's trailing leg which is offside so the goal will be overruled. Erdegaard again, back to white, straight at Pickford in the end, plenty of power behind the strike. If he sets that a little bit further out of that far post it's going to give Pickford some trouble. And here's Erdegaard, pushed away by Pickford and Vieira on the follow-up, can't keep that effort on target. Arsenal have started sharp haven't they, it's a great save from Pickford you've got to say. Short again from Saka, Erdegaard to Vieira, just though it may sit for a second, Everton quick to close down but they've not picked up, Chaucer's finished, lovely punch with a side foot, right-hand side, I don't think the short corner works as it's supposed to, Vieira gets closed down early but he's clever, he plays the ball early to Zinchenko, goes out to Erdegaard, Saka chops it back and it's a great finish, there can't be no arguments from VAR's point of view with this one.
