Let's explore together! This is a difficult and time-consuming question in the IELTS exam. That's why it often appears near the end or at the end. But what if it doesn't appear at the end? We also have to save this lesson for the last time. Then we will have a chance to understand the content of the lesson from the previous questions. Then this lesson will be easier to understand, right? The difficulty here is that this lesson requires you to be able to grasp the main message that the author wants to convey. Also known as the main message of the passage. There are many students in my class who often make a mistake. Otherwise, we will not be able to clearly understand the meaning of the keywords. And finally, in this sentence, the keywords are Wife Families Die together Ok, step number 2 Try to understand the passage structure. Why do we need to understand the passage structure? Why? What did I say in the first part? In the first part, I said Choose a title of questions Quick review Yes Topic sentence Ok, pause this video and read these two paragraphs for me. And tell me what these two paragraphs are about. Ok, finished reading? What is the main message of these two paragraphs? What is it? Let's read together and calculate to find out. The whole passage discusses the importance of families dying together. How can you calculate this? Let's read together. Paragraph 1 The main idea lies in this sentence. Which sentence do you think? Yes, here it is. While trying or using alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. Yes, those are the keywords. And where is paragraph 2? Yes, here it is. Therefore, the questions you ask here must be extremely calculated to distinguish where is the summary of the paragraph and where is the summary of the passage. Tip 2. Always look ahead.
