It's been raining a lot lately.
Even though it's still summer, the cloudy skies and cold winds make these days feel like fall.
While it may seem a bit early to think of autumn, I find myself tempted to bring at least some of that aesthetic into my surroundings.
I've been putting off decorating my kitchen for a while now and it feels like this could be just the right time to finally do that.
I want to create a cozy space,
warm and rustic looking, to give my kitchen a little more character.
This is what the kitchen looks like right now and it's not bad, but it's empty and I don't like it. So let's change that.
I want to cover this outlet, so I found this cutting boards, which I think will fit my rustic theme perfectly.
I'll be using this command hooks to hang them up and hope they won't fall.
I'm finally done with the decorating and so happy with how it turned out.
The kitchen looks warm, cozy and inviting, just like I imagined it.
So now that I have my cozy kitchen, it's time to reward myself with some freshly baked pastry.
