How to repent when you commit a crime?
As a human being, we may inadvertently commit a crime when we are ignorant or lack of knowledge.
But according to the law of karma, good and evil, good and evil, good and evil,
whether unintentional or intentional, we have to pay for our evil deeds.
However, there are things that can be repented, at least good deeds can make up for the sins we have committed.
So how to repent when you commit a crime?
Let's find out the answer together with me.
The Emperor's Recompense
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty,
there was a monk named Nha Khoang, who was in charge of the warehouse.
However, he often violated the interests of others,
excluding the raw materials of people, and did a lot of bad things.
Every day, Nha Khoang cooked food in the warehouse and hid it from people,
enjoying it alone.
He also stole other tools for his own use.
This went on for a year.
The following night of that year, Nha Khoang dreamt of cutting off his own tongue.
On the fourth day of the new year, Nha Khoang was seriously ill and was about to die.
The monk was in a state of panic and fear.
He quickly sold everything he had.
In front of everyone, he sincerely apologized and left the warehouse.
Gradually, the illness of Nha Khoang was cured and he was released.
Eradicate the hatred, the illness is not cured.
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty in Hangzhou,
there was a story.
A villager, a villager in the village, had a few good land models,
but this position was close to the position of a crown prince.
The crown prince wanted to borrow the power to get the good land model of the villager.
As a poor villager, he had no power, no way to advertise,
and no talent.
Therefore, the villager was so angry that he swore to turn the crown prince into a snake.
After that, he was seriously ill.
He came to ask the monk to make a coffin,
and he was angry when he remembered leaving a hole.
The monk was curious why.
The villager continued to tell the whole story.
After hearing the story, the monk told the crown prince a little.
The crown prince quickly woke up,
immediately went to the villager's house and returned the land model to him.
He also agreed to pay the medical expenses to cure him.
The villager was moved to tears.
In his heart, he also realized his mistake.
Suddenly, a snake came out of his mouth,
and the illness was also cured.
An Nan vowed to be sincere before taking action.
According to the holy book,
in the time of Nguyen Tinh, Nam Bac Trieu,
in An Huy, there was a local officer who had three sons.
Although his three sons were 10 years old,
they could only pronounce simple words,
but could not speak.
One day, a friend of this officer came to visit.
He accidentally heard the strange sounds of his three sons,
so he asked him,
I would like to ask you, what are those sounds?
What is it that makes such strange sounds?
The officer replied,
I'm so embarrassed,
it's the voice of my three sons,
they can't speak.
The officer continued,
so you should examine yourself,
have you done anything wrong to your conscience before?
This officer thought for a long time and said,
I remember a terrible thing I did when I was a child.
At that time, opposite my bed,
there was a birdcage.
In the birdcage, there were three small birds.
Every day, I saw the mother bird
feeding the baby bird,
and all three birds ate and enjoyed the food.
Every day, I sat and observed,
and it was very interesting.
Then one day, I accidentally put three small birds in my mouth,
they also opened their mouths to swallow the food.
I was so excited,
so I took three small flowers and put them in my mouth for the mother bird to eat,
but after that, they all died.
Before, because I didn't understand love when I was a child,
so I did such a cruel thing,
now I think about it and feel very regretful.
The friend heard the story and said,
this is the reward for your evil.
The officer heard the friend's words,
and he felt regret and self-blame for his previous cruelty.
Since then, the officer has been eating vegetarian food every day,
and he has become a good person,
forgiving the mistakes he has made,
and helping the poor.
Not long after, his three children were able to speak normally again.
Through this story, we can see that
karma always tells the truth.
When a seed is sown, a fruit will be born.
The officer's children can speak again,
and they have proven this.
The story of the officer above can also confirm one thing,
when a criminal has to commit a crime,
if the mind of eating and drinking,
the mind of self-restraint,
then the fruit will be born.
Also because the officer became a good person,
so the child can speak again.
This story helps us feel
how the Buddha is merciful to people.
As long as people become good people,
and speak out their mistakes,
then the Buddha will help.
As for people in life,
surely there will be times when they make mistakes.
The important thing is your attitude,
towards the mistakes you have made.
Because if you are not kind,
the Buddha will not help you.
The officer, eating and drinking,
must be sincere in making mistakes.
There is an old lady named Chuong.
She used to be a person who went through unusual things,
which made her a cripple.
Now she is no longer doing this job.
The old lady said,
she used to go to the temple,
and asked the officer,
whether the Buddha's teachings are useful or not.
The officer replied,
the Buddha only encourages people to be kind.
Kind people will naturally be moved,
and receive blessings.
Therefore, it is not the Buddha who gives them blessings.
We need to say that,
the blessings are given by ourselves.
If a cripple goes to the Buddha's temple to receive blessings,
then the Buddha's teachings are kept clean.
The young man, the worldly people,
do not receive the Buddha's teachings.
How can the Buddha accept the Buddha's teachings?
The old lady asked again,
if a person has committed a sin,
eating and drinking,
is it useful?
The officer said,
eating and drinking,
must be sincere in making mistakes,
change your attitude,
be kind, be kind,
so that you can correct the mistakes you have made before.
The wrongdoings of people today,
can only be considered as self-harm,
to ask for forgiveness.
If so, is it useful?
The words of Nga Quy,
let's forgive when we are still human.
The road of Nga Quy is a place no one wants to go,
but it only appears clearly when people escape.
There is a young man who is very resilient,
and is not afraid of ghosts.
One night,
when the sky was just raining,
and the moon was shining brightly,
he brought a big bottle of wine to the temple.
He looked around and was very confused.
Tonight is beautiful,
but we are alone,
extremely lonely,
breathing the scent of the world over there.
Does anyone want to drink wine with us?
After a while,
he saw the stars shining in the grass,
there were about 10 candles.
The three ghosts were still arrogant,
circling around him,
stopping him from doing one thing,
and not going any further.
The monk walked around,
just walking and drinking wine,
from a big pot to the ground.
The last ghost fell to the ground,
drank all the wine.
A ghost praised this wine very deliciously,
and asked for more.
The monk just came back to drink more wine,
and asked,
why don't you resurrect?
A ghost said,
those who do good deeds
have all reincarnated.
Those who are evil,
are all sent to hell to be punished.
13 of us,
4 people after being punished,
will be resurrected.
The remaining 9 people,
because of karma,
cannot be resurrected anymore.
The monk asked,
why don't you pray for salvation?
A ghost replied,
people have to pray when they are still alive,
after they die on the road to hell,
they can no longer pray.
The monk helped the ghost to drink wine,
saying that the wine had been drunk completely.
The ghosts all dispersed.
One of the ghosts turned around and said,
the ghost was so good at drinking wine,
there is nothing to repay your house,
only this sentence for you.
If you have karma,
you must do it when you are still alive.
Ladies and gentlemen,
in traditional culture,
Buddhism emphasizes on the harmony between heaven and man.
The more people are impressed,
the more the sound and sound of Buddhism
is not enough,
then we do not dare to break it.
The power of Buddhism says clearly,
the karma of a person,
including bad karma,
is the cause of bad karma,
which harms others,
leading to bad karma.
People often say that
regret is also useless,
because what has passed cannot be returned,
what has been lost cannot be restored.
However,
in the end,
who can avoid making mistakes?
The key is how to deal with your mistakes,
when people know that they are suffering,
regret and then determine to correct it,
then above all, there are gods,
good deeds,
the gods can see
and can also help that person.
The future will be bright,
in a better direction.
