Today, we would like to share with you the story of
Trương Đạo Lăng's Choosing His Disciple, Part 2
Đắt Đạo về Cổi Thiên
In the first part, we can see that Triệu Thăng has overcome Aiễn Kiên Nhẫn Tâm Tính
and Aiễn Mỹ Nhân in a decisive way.
But what about his fortune, honor and reputation?
Let's listen to the rest of the story.
It was autumn again.
The monk told Triệu Thăng to go to the back of the mountain to burn wood.
Triệu Thăng saw a dry tree.
He was glad that he had met luck this time.
After burning this tree and bringing it back,
there would be enough firewood to cook rice for a long time.
Triệu Thăng held the rope and tied it to the old tree.
Less than half a day later, he only heard a rustling sound.
The whole tree fell down.
The monk was very happy.
Unexpectedly, he could burn this tree so easily.
Triệu Thăng happily walked around the tree for a while.
Unexpectedly, there were bright yellow sparks at the bottom of the tree.
Triệu Thăng ran to the top of the tree,
and saw more and more yellow sparks.
It seemed that the inside of the pit under this tree was all yellow.
At this time, Triệu Thăng heard a voice in the sky
saying that this is the God who gave it to him.
He was very surprised, even a little panicked,
and suddenly there was a bird flying by.
Triệu Thăng suddenly calmed down.
He thought,
Now that I'm a monk,
what am I doing with this tree?
Besides, I don't have any merit.
How can I enjoy the gift of God?
So Triệu Thăng quickly took the ground and put it back.
He tied the tree to the tree and immediately carried it down the mountain.
Not long after that,
he suddenly felt sleepy.
Triệu Thăng sat on the side of the road and took a rest.
He slept for a while.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew.
Triệu Thăng suddenly woke up.
He only heard two loud noises.
There were three big tigers jumping out of the forest.
One immediately rushed to Triệu Thăng
and bit him on the back of his shirt.
Triệu Thăng was not afraid and calmly told the tiger that
Triệu Thăng, this life is not a matter of conscience.
Now I have left my family to go to Tư Đạo,
thousands of miles away, to find a master.
I want to find the immortal Tư Đạo.
If I owe you in the previous life,
this time you come to eat my flesh,
I don't dare to be afraid and avoid it.
If not,
hurry up and leave this place.
Don't bother me here.
After hearing that,
the tiger was very gentle and obedient.
At the end, it ran away.
Triệu Thăng then thought.
This must be the god Xuân Thận coming to challenge me.
Life and death are numbered.
Why should I be afraid?
Then he hurried back to Đạo Quán.
In the winter,
Triệu Thăng went to the market to buy 10 baskets of rice.
Triệu Thăng paid the money,
the tiger immediately stepped out of the store.
But the shopkeeper chased after Triệu Thăng
and said that he was a thief.
Triệu Thăng only remembered that
this was what the master needed,
so he didn't argue with him.
He immediately took off his cloak
to give it to the thief.
At last, he completed the task
that the master had given him.
He brought the rice back and put it in front of the temple.
The temple priest took a look
and immediately knew the whole story.
He exclaimed,
I don't regret my property.
I don't argue with other people's mistakes.
It's really hard to do.
Once again,
Triệu Thăng took care of a beggar
who was completely naked,
extremely smelly.
He divided the rice and his clothes
for the beggar
and helped him wash and apply medicine.
Gradually, the wound of the beggar healed.
But one day,
the beggar suddenly left
without a goodbye or a thank you.
Triệu Thăng didn't blame him at all.
In the end,
the most difficult task for a practitioner
is to have absolute faith in his master.
Letting go of life and death
is not just a word,
but you can only know it
when you have experienced it.
At the beginning of the summer of that year,
the temple priest gathered his disciples
to go to the top of the mountain,
Thien Tru.
He saw a peach tree growing in the middle of the cliff.
The fruits of the peach trees were all red,
as if they were about to fall.
Beside the tree,
there was a figure like a person
who was waving his arms
to provoke people to pick the fruit.
But below was a deep,
deep abyss.
The priest told his disciples,
If any disciple can pick a peach,
I will tell that person
the secret of the peach.
Everyone tried to pick the peach,
but when they came to the edge of the abyss,
looking down,
their feet were all soft,
no one dared to move anymore.
At this time,
the priest said,
Master told me to pick the peach,
so this peach can definitely be picked.
So he aimed exactly at the position of the peach,
swept people straight down,
then hit the peach.
The priest picked a peach,
then threw it up.
The disciples looked at each other,
for a long time,
but no one dared to step forward.
At this time,
the priest practiced magic,
his arms stretched out 2-3 inches,
swept straight to the position of the peach,
put him on a safe place.
The priest smiled,
turned around and told everyone,
The peach has been picked.
The disciple said,
The peach has been picked.
The priest said,
The priest is a good man,
so he can fall down the tree.
I also want to go down.
If he is a good man,
he can definitely pick a big peach.
The disciples saw this
and advised him,
saying,
Master,
absolutely not.
The priest can't go up,
people can pick him up,
but what if something happens to him?
What should we do?
We can't save him.
At this time,
only the priest and the priestess were silent.
The priest did not listen to
everyone's advice,
turned around and immediately
jumped straight down the tree.
The disciples hurriedly
looked down,
but did not see the priest
on the tree,
only the peach behind the tree.
Everyone felt
that the priest was definitely
dead.
There were also people wiping their tears.
Master is dead,
let's go home.
At this time,
Trieu Thang told Vuong Truong
that our master jumped down the cliff,
it was not clear how he died.
Let's go down together
and see how the master is.
So Vuong Truong and Trieu Thang
jumped down together,
at the same time,
both saw their bodies
shining and flying
above the clouds.
And Truong Dao Lang
was standing in front of them,
laughing and saying,
I knew
that you two would follow me.
At that time,
the angel appeared,
the music of heaven gave way.
Truong Dao Lang,
along with Vuong Truong,
stayed in Hac Minh mountain.
The people who stayed
could only look at the snow-covered mountain.
Trieu Thang
went through many challenges
before he died.
Finally,
he got rid of Tuc Khi
and got Dao Phap.
These stories
are called
7 challenges of Trieu Thang.
First,
humiliated but did not leave.
Second,
saw the body but did not move.
Third,
saw the gold but did not take it.
Fourth,
was a Buddhist.
Seventh,
left his body and followed the teacher.
The origin of the 7 challenges
are all the ideas of
Truong Dao Lang.
Gold, beauties,
and fortune-tellers
were all made by him.
The owner of the iron
was also a fake.
This is called
a fake test.
After all 7 challenges,
Trieu Thang could not
get rid of Tuc Khi.
Only then
could he be a Taoist.
The result is
a person who opens his mouth
and speaks like a fairy.
Have you ever seen a person
go to heaven?
Who is a fairy
who does not have food,
but is difficult to meet
and has a sick mind?
This is the end of the video.
Goodbye and see you again
in the next video.
I wish you good health,
happiness and peaceful days.
