Tim sepak takraw kuadran putra harus puas hanya mendapatkan medali perak Asian Games 2022 setelah kalah 0-2 dari Myanmar di babak final yang berlangsung di Jinhua Sports Centre Gymnasium, Jinhua, Rabu (4/10). Myanmar sukses memenangi laga ini dengan keunggulan dua set langsung, yakni 21-13 dan 24-22. (ANTARA)

Indonesia won the gold medal again
through the Spectakraw Quadrant Putra team in the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
In a match at Chinua Sports Center Gymnasium Rabu 4 October,
the Nas Putra team initially managed to hold Myanmar in the first set,
but the points gap grew until Indonesia lost in the first set.
At the end of the second set, Indonesia began to rise,
being able to chase and equalize the points to 22-22.
However, in the end, Myanmar proved its superiority and came out as the champion.
The coach of the Spectakraw Putra, Tri Haji, said
Indonesia has trained hard to reach the target of the gold medal.
However, Myanmar played well and consistently.
Indonesia has tried to follow up in the second set
and was enthusiastic when it managed to score.
However, Indonesia failed to beat Myanmar's pace and was forced to retreat.
Meanwhile, one of the Spectakraw athletes, Rushdi, said
his team has been ready since the SEA Games in May 2023.
However, his effort to bring home the gold medal has not been fruitful.
In the SEA Games 2018 in Jakarta,
the Spectakraw Putra Red and White team
managed to win the gold medal.
Rushdi hopes his team can achieve better results in the future.
