Jason Kelce involved? You know he has a podcast.
He has a podcast with Travis Kelce called the New Heights Podcast.
Travis Kelce was a member of this show yesterday, not here, but certainly a character.
Yeah, absolutely.
And that thing certainly made its way around the internet.
And we had no idea that was coming.
And boy, got a good pop out of me.
That was a solid joke.
It was. It was a great joke.
It was a solid joke.
Now, obviously there's people on the internet that did not appreciate the way Aaron cracked a joke
at Travis's expense because of a vaccine, especially with Aaron.
Sure.
Working for Johnson & Johnson currently at the New York Jets.
Which, by the way, in the moment as he says that, we all realize all those things are going to happen
immediately after, which is why we laugh even harder, which makes it an even better joke.
But Travis Kelce was asked by his brother, what was the conversation like with Aaron on the sideline?
Because Aaron wouldn't tell us what it was.
He said, hey, we'd just rather leave it.
We don't have the conversation.
Okay, never mind.
We do not have the video.
Anyways, Travis Kelce said, I was just telling him how bummed I was that he wasn't playing.
Like, I don't like whenever the greats are out.
Like, we're all hurting with you.
We all wish that you were playing.
And I'm like, damn.
Travis Kelce baby-facing real hard right now.
Don't know why Aaron didn't want to say that.
But I hope that Aaron and Travis are still friends going forward after the Mr. Pfizer situation
happened yesterday, Ty Schmitt.
Yeah, I don't know if they are.
I don't know.
I mean, I think, you know, Travis obviously, he gets it.
I mean, he understands that was a joke.
Everyone kind of involved, I think, got a good chuckle out of it.
But I don't think we can discount the fact that, hey, listen, you know, before the whole
Travis and Taylor Swift thing happened, Rod was at MetLife three nights in a row for Taylor
Swift concerts.
She was kind of the apple of his eye.
And then, boom, here comes this guy with the mustache, you know, sneaking in and kind of
taking his glory.
And then, I mean, it's almost like rubbing salt in the wound, too, when he's saying,
man, I wish you were out here playing.
So you think Aaron, because there's a lot of people on the internet saying that Aaron
is mad at Travis Gelsie.
Because obviously, my home's my auto.
That's State Farm, which Aaron was stapled up for a long time.
Exactly.
You know what I mean?
And then, obviously, Aaron's the guy who had a 500-page report on why he's not getting
vaccinated.
Right.
That we happen to be a part of.
And then he got, you know, he became the face of the non-vaxxers.
Oh, yeah.
The anti-vaxxers.
And I don't know if it's every vax, but the COVID vax we'll talk about.
Sure.
He was getting, the president came out, I think, and said some stuff about Aaron.
So Aaron will always have that trenches mentality about the vaccination.
And he is going to continue to look into the stats and analytics to justify himself.
That is just human nature for Aaron.
So whenever he sees Travis also do that, he couldn't wait to get it.
I still think Aaron loves Travis.
I think he has great appreciation for him.
I think that he just appreciated the fact that he can call somebody Mr. Pfizer.
Yeah.
And then keep it moving.
Because they were laughing on the sidelines.
Yeah, I don't think there was any malice with the Mr. Pfizer joke, but I think maybe there
was a point on the sidelines on Sunday night where he was like, oh, you son of a bitch.
Just get out of my face.
It kind of felt like that when we asked Aaron yesterday.
Absolutely.
Oh, geez.
So maybe Aaron asked a little bit more.
Aaron said, we should probably keep that to ourselves.
I don't know, because Aaron's like a weird dude when it comes to that type of stuff,
where he's like, I'm not going to be the one that's going to say what we talked about
or whatever, but I don't know why he wouldn't say it.
Like Travis was just telling me.
Yeah, exactly.
He just said he wanted me to play.
Yeah, tell yourself how bummed I was about it.
Nice.
Whatever.
We found ourselves right in the middle of another situation, which seems to be the case
with this particular program.
