How's it going, guys?
I'm Jansen.
I'm Jeff.
And we're in the band called The Wildlife, and these are some tour tips we have for you.
Definitely one, just stay sane on the road.
You've got to explore the city.
You've got to get out of the van, you've got to get out of the house, wherever you're staying,
hotel.
Definitely try to take in the culture of wherever you're at.
Just get out there, see what you can find, see what you can learn.
Number two, get a nice pillow and figure out how to sleep in a van.
We drive through the night quite a bit, and I think I've mastered it.
I slept nine hours for a 10-hour drive one time.
So if you can get a nice pillow, get comfortable, that's my second tour tip for you.
Jeff, you take three.
Yeah, next tip, talk to each other.
I mean, you're best friends, but obviously you've got to kind of keep yourself entertained.
Kind of just ask people what's going on in their life, but the most random things come
up, the most random topics of subject we'll talk about, which is good and bad all the
time, but you've got to stay communicated with each other.
You've got to keep talking, keep the friendship and the relationship alive.
In the same light, number four, sometimes don't talk to each other because we do basically
live together and we're best friends and sometimes it's good to get a break, kind of like what
Jeff was talking about earlier.
Go out, explore, go on an adventure.
We like to do that sometimes.
Jeff likes to run.
I like to just walk around and kind of get out of the van for a while because we're cooped
up quite a bit sometimes, but for sure, find time for yourself and make time to just kind
of enjoy the time that you have kind of alone sometimes in a new place.
Last tip, you miss home sometimes.
You've got to make sure that, one, obviously talk to your family and friends back home,
but two, you've got to feel like you're back home.
For me, it's Wendy's.
I've got to have my nuggets from Wendy's.
You know, those little things that remind you of home.
If it's food, if it's music, whatever you need to do on the road to remind yourself
that it's a small world, USA is not that big.
You've got to find the things that make you feel like you're back at home.
If that means stopping on the exit and getting whatever you need, by far, that's what you've
got to do.
And Wendy's is everything that we need on the road.
Wendy's.
Four for four.
Dave Thomas, Spicy Chicken Wrap.
Man, Dave Thomas, a great creation from God.
I mean, the creator of Wendy's right there, so great guy.
Thank you, Dave Thomas.
