Good morning, let's see the radiation mechanism of an antenna.
The main function of an antenna is power radiation or reception.
This antenna transmits and receives.
The circuitry of the antenna is connected to the loudspeaker.
The circuitry is connected using a transmission line.
The transmission line connects the antenna to the circuitry.
The functioning of the antenna depends on the radiation mechanism of the transmission line.
The transmission line is a conductor.
It is designed to carry current over large distances with minimum loss.
For example, a wire is a transmission line.
A transmission line conducts current at a uniform velocity.
Similarly, a straight line or a straight one transmits current.
Therefore, it does not radiate power.
Let's see how to use a transmission line as a waveguide or how to radiate power.
The first point is that the current flowing through the transmission line is at a uniform velocity.
If the transmission line bends, truncates or terminates, it will radiate power.
The second point is that the transmission line bends, truncates or terminates, it will radiate power.
The third point is that the transmission line bends, truncates or terminates, it will radiate power.
A waveguide is a transmission line.
A charged particle produces an electric field.
The electric field exerts a force on the charged particle.
The positive charged particles move in the direction of the field.
The negative charged particles accelerate and move in the opposite direction of the field.
The moving charged particles produce a magnetic field.
The magnetic field exerts a force on the moving charged particles.
Electromagnetic waves are electric and magnetic waves travelling through empty space with the speed of light.
Lambda is equal to c by f is the equation used to find the wavelength of electromagnetic waves.
Electromagnetic waves can transport energy from space.
Accelerating charges produce changing electric and magnetic fields.
Electromagnetic waves propagate electric and magnetic fields.
The basic equation of radiation is given.
I L is equal to Q V.
I is the time changing current in ampere per second.
L is the length of current element in meters.
Q is the charge.
V is the time changing velocity.
The basic equation of radiation is given.
The radiation is perpendicular to acceleration and the radiated power is proportional to square of I L or Q V.
