Hello, everyone.
I'm Musubi University, a professor of Japanese Studies.
This is the 6th episode of Japanese History Lessons.
I'm going to talk about the Inasaku Period of Jomon Period.
The difference between the Jomon Period and the Yayoi Period is that
the Inasaku Period started after the Inasaku Era.
Inasaku came from outside.
Many people think that the Inasaku Period started after the Inasaku Era.
But there are many people who don't agree with the Inasaku Period.
This is what we learn at school.
In fact, it's completely different.
But this is the basic knowledge.
This is a diagram of the Inasaku Period from a book called Inasaku Bunmei.
The Inasaku Period started from 7,000 to 8,000 years ago.
It's the B.P. period.
The Inasaku Period started from 9,000 to 11,000 years ago.
The Inasaku Period started around the entrance of the Yosu Port.
At the same time, the Inasaku Period started in the back of China.
The Inasaku Period started in these two places.
The Inasaku Period started around 7,000 years ago in the pink area.
The Inasaku Period started around 5,000 years ago in the purple area.
The Inasaku Period started around 3,000 years ago in Japan through the Korean Peninsula.
This is the beginning of the Yayoi Period.
The Inasaku Period started earlier than the Yosu Period in the Korean Peninsula.
This is the general theory.
However, the oldest evidence in the Korean Peninsula is that the Inasaku Period started around 3,200 years ago in Otsumori.
However, in Japan, the Inasaku Period started 3,500 years ago in Tsushima.
This means that the Inasaku Period started earlier in Japan than in the Korean Peninsula.
However, the blue line does not logically make sense.
The reason why the Inasaku Period started earlier than the Yosu Period is that the Inasaku Period started in Japan from the area of the Yosu Port.
In this case, the final island is in front of China.
If the Inasaku Period started earlier than 4,000 or 3,500 years ago in the final island,
the Inasaku Period might have started earlier in Japan.
Unfortunately, the Inasaku Period did not start earlier in the final island.
The Inasaku Period started earlier in Japan.
Even if the Inasaku Period started earlier in Japan from the Korean Peninsula,
it is obvious that there is no evidence that the Inasaku Period started earlier in Japan.
In fact, the Inasaku Period has changed to the modern era.
The varieties of rice have been improved and we can grow rice in a good location.
The yellow area is where wheat is grown.
The green area is the greenland.
The orange area is where corn is grown.
The rice is grown in the light blue area.
The light blue areas are only around here.
There is some rice here.
It's the same in the modern world, but you can't grow rice at all in the Santo Peninsula or the Ryoto Peninsula.
Rice is grown in paddy fields.
There is also rice grown in the field called rikuto.
Both are rice grown in the field, but they need a lot of rain.
If there is no water, you can't grow rice.
Rikuto is a tropical plant.
Tropical means that there is a sea and air.
When the air comes out, you can grow rice.
This is the feature of this plant called rice.
You need a lot of water.
However, there is not much water in the Santo Peninsula and the Ryoto Peninsula.
As a result, almost no rice cultivation is carried out in this area.
Even in the modern world, where science and technology have advanced,
it is not possible to grow rice in this area.
When we think about the era 3,000 years ago, 4,000 years ago, or 5,000 years ago,
it is impossible to grow rice in an area where it is impossible to grow rice at all.
I think that's all I can say.
Interestingly, some people say that rice cultivation is carried out in the northern part of the Ryoto Peninsula,
or in the western part of the Korean Peninsula.
However, rice cultivation is carried out in the northern part of the Ryoto Peninsula.
Originally, rice cultivation was not carried out at all.
However, before the war, Japanese farmers came here to grow rice.
They wanted to grow rice somehow.
So they thought about it using this river water.
They made rice paddies on purpose.
They made rice paddies and started rice cultivation.
About 100 years ago, rice cultivation was started for the first time by the power of the Japanese.
It has nothing to do with the rice cultivation of 3,000 years ago or 4,000 years ago.
So there is no need to think about the color of the water here.
The coastline of the Korean Peninsula is actually the same.
Originally, rice cultivation was not carried out.
Actually, rice cultivation was started after the war.
If you look at the DNA of rice cultivation,
you can see it from the SSR data.
The rice grown in this area of Yosu Port is
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H.
There are 8 types of rice with DNA.
There is Japonica rice, which is eaten in Japan.
There is Indica rice, which is long.
There is Komimai rice, which has a strong scent.
It is used for curry in India.
So there are various types of rice.
The rice grown in Japan is relatively small, sweet and delicious.
There is also rice that is not.
In China, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H.
There are 8 types of rice with DNA.
Indica rice is one of them.
The rice grown in the Korean Peninsula is
A, C, D, E, F, G, H.
There is no B type.
A, C, D, E, F, G, H.
There is no B type.
However, the rice grown in Japan is
A type and B type.
If Inasak, who was born here,
crossed the Korean Peninsula and came to Japan,
there must be a B type in the Korean Peninsula.
But there is no B type in the Korean Peninsula.
Therefore, in the Korean Peninsula,
there is a possibility that Inasak crossed this route and Japan.
However, the B type is only found in Japan and China.
Regarding the cultivation of this B type,
we can only think of the possibility that it crossed from China to Japan or from Japan to China.
So, when did rice grow in Japan?
Did it grow naturally or was it cultivated?
Even if we don't know the difference,
when did rice grow in Japan?
Inasak was established in the early days of the Jomon period.
There is a book called Far Journey of the Japanese.
It is one of the books.
Plant opal, which originated from Asanebana Kaizuka in Okayama Prefecture about 6,000 years ago,
was already there in the early days of the Jomon period.
What is plant opal?
Plants have a solid component called opal.
When you run in your pants, you can get a lot of scratches on your feet.
It is scratched by rubbing against the corner of the leaf.
Why is it scratched by rubbing against a soft leaf?
Actually, there is an opal component at the center of the leaf.
Opal is very hard.
If you rub your skin with a hard object, it will be scratched.
The opal component has a different shape depending on the plant.
It is sucked in from the inside of the skin and turned into opal in the plant.
It is included in leaves or trunks.
The rice has a unique type of opal.
Because rice is a plant, it melts in the soil for years.
But opal is a mineral, so it doesn't melt.
If there is a lot of rice opal in the soil,
you can see whether the rice used to be grown or cultivated.
You can see that the rice was cultivated in large quantities there.
It has been around for a long time in Japan.
This is the Itaya Ruins.
In the early days of the Jomon period,
about 8,000 to 9,000 years ago,
a large amount of plant opal was produced.
In addition, a large amount of rice plant opal was produced from many ruins.
In other words, it is not known whether the rice was grown or cultivated in the Jomon period.
At least, it is assumed that the people of the Jomon period ate rice.
Why is it possible to say that they ate rice?
Rice can be eaten even after 20 years if it is in the state of brown rice.
There was no refrigerator in the Jomon period.
How precious is the food that can be eaten even after 20 years in a time when there is no refrigerator?
Even if you catch fish in the sea and eat it,
if the sea is damp, you can't go fishing.
Even if you try to catch wild vegetables in the mountains,
if there is a typhoon and it rains for days and days,
you can't go into the mountains and catch wild vegetables,
and you can't go hunting for small animals.
In addition, I would like you to think with common sense,
but there are quite a few people who say that they lived to eat rabbits, raccoons, and deer in the mountains.
It's true that you can eat raccoons and rabbits,
but aren't raccoons and rabbits small?
It's bad, but you can't get a lot of meat.
When it comes to deer, deer are big,
but there are only a few places where you can eat deer meat.
Even now, that's the case.
For example, I was trying to protect the deer around Izu,
so I was banning the amount of deer for a while.
As a result, a large number of deer grew in the mountains in Izu Hunt,
and the deer came out to the city,
and the place where people live has become a mess.
So I've been talking about how to hunt deer,
but there are no people hunting deer.
The reason is that even if you buy a deer, there is almost no place to eat it.
In other words, it doesn't sell.
It doesn't make money.
That's why deer hunting doesn't work at all.
As a result, the number of deer has increased significantly,
and people are in trouble.
So there are rabbits, raccoons, raccoons, and foxes,
but they are small and don't have much food.
If you bring them there, there is no place to eat deer.
In addition to that,
don't you think it's really hard to catch animals in the mountains?
As a matter of fact,
we can't use electricity or anything at all,
so when we have to live like in primitive times,
how do we find raccoons, rabbits, and raccoons?
How do we find rabbits?
Rabbits and raccoons are very fast.
They run away to a place where there are a lot of trees and grass.
They aim for it with a bow and shoot it.
You can catch a deer or a rabbit with a bow.
Can you do that?
Unlike modern people, Jomon people only ate that,
so I don't know if you think you can do it,
but even if you don't do such a troublesome thing,
if you go to the sea, you can catch a lot of fish.
If you make a net and bring it to the bay,
and pull it with everyone,
you can catch a lot of horse mackerels and small fish.
You can also catch seabass.
You can also pick up shellfish and eat them.
Or if you take a boat and go to Okinawa,
you can catch a lot of big fish.
If you catch a big fish,
you can eat a lot of rice with just fish.
Which is more difficult,
catching animals in the mountains or catching fish in the sea?
If you think about it,
all the ruins of the Jomon period have a seabed.
The fact that there is a seabed means that
they lived in a place where they could pick up shellfish.
In other words, they lived in a place facing the sea.
Of course, there are ruins of the Jomon period in the mountains.
But such ruins are places facing the lake.
In other words, only places where you can catch shellfish in the lake
and where you can catch fish in the lake
have traces of the Jomon period.
In other words, it is delicious to eat fresh fish
that you caught in the sea.
But it is very difficult to keep the fish
in the refrigerator for 4 or 5 days
when there is no refrigerator.
There is no refrigerator.
When it's hot in the summer, it hurts quickly.
What should you do?
The storm continues, the sea is wet,
you can't go fishing,
you have nothing to eat for three days.
But the children are crying,
saying, Dad, I'm hungry, Mom, I'm hungry.
What should you do?
Then you should store food
so that you won't be in trouble
no matter what happens.
Food that can be stored for 20 years
even without a refrigerator
means how precious it is.
The rice was properly cultivated
in the village.
At first, it may have just been planted there.
But by intentionally cultivating it,
you can get more harvest.
This is the wisdom of life.
After all, the Jomon period
lasted for 14,000 years.
Improvements were made
and such things were done.
Do you think that such a flow
can be estimated
as a very natural
and very natural thing?
In fact, there is evidence.
In the Jomon period,
people ate dongri,
or chestnuts.
This is quite famous.
So how did they eat chestnuts?
How did they eat dongri?
In fact, chestnuts and dongri
were peeled,
the flesh inside was taken out,
and it was sun-dried
to dry it dry.
The dried ones were rubbed with stones
and pulled to make powder
and kept.
This is what we know now.
Why did they do such a troublesome thing?
You don't have to powder it.
You can eat it as it is.
First, sun-dry the flesh
and make it dry.
When it is powdered,
it becomes a paste,
but by sun-drying it further,
it becomes a powder.
When it is powdered,
it can be sun-dried.
In this way,
a lot of powder is put in a pot
and taken,
and it becomes a powder.
Today, I will go to Okinawa
and catch a big fish.
You can look forward to it.
I will go to the fish market
and come back.
I will come back in the evening.
I'm waiting for you at home.
I will catch a delicious fish.
You can look forward to it.
Dad, go ahead.
You go ahead.
At that time,
the powder of chestnuts
is flattened
and baked.
Then you can make cookies
with chestnuts.
All natural food cookies
without any additives.
It smells good when you bake cookies.
I baked cookies,
so take it to your lunch box.
Oh, I see.
It smells good.
It smells like you
rather than cookies.
Thank you.
I'm looking forward to it.
Go ahead.
You go to Okinawa
to catch a fish.
You can make cookies
with chestnuts.
It is a proof
that there are
fossils of cookies.
It is a proof
that there are
fossils of cookies.
It is a proof
that there are
fossils of cookies.
That's why
people in Japan
have been
making rice cookies
since Jomon era.
In the old mythology
of the Indians
in Peru,
we came
from Japan.
There is a mythology
in Peru.
They say
One day, a white man comes to pick them up.
The white man is mistaken for a white man, and in the end, the United Kingdom is destroyed.
When I asked what kind of people the white people were,
only the Japanese were extremely white among Asian people.
