Let's see then what we find as a spot in Marina di Lesina, we have seen that there are a couple of them,
practically on one side there is the sea and on the other there is the lake of Lesina,
the lake of Lesina, the lake of Lesina or lagoon, whatever you want to say,
it is at the beginning of Gargano anyway,
sure, exactly, it should be practically one of the first locations arriving on Gargano.
After many months, finally a walk on the beach and think that before it was our normality,
during our previous life spent in Mexico.
My goodness, how beautiful this beach is, a show!
Then now it is still Monday morning, it is 10.30 am,
so obviously there are few people, even if the day is really a show.
It's 10.30 am and it's already 23 degrees,
we can't wait to get into Puglia and see the beautiful beaches and town of Gargano
and also enjoy the culinary specialties of Puglia, really.
Our friend Flavia is talking to us from Mexico, obviously she who still lives in Mexico,
she is giving us all the tips on what can be both the localities and the culinary specialties of her region of origin.
A hug Flavia!
So we are leaving Campo Marino Lido, Campo Marino Lido,
where we slept last night, a very quiet place,
right on the beach of Campo Marino Lido, recommended by Park4night,
and now on this short stretch of dirt road before returning to the village.
And we could not miss a change of water pump,
a problem that seems to interest all owners of vans sooner or later.
So Peschi is really, especially here we are in the historic center,
it is really a labyrinth of alleys, one more beautiful than the other.
It seems to be in Greece.
It really seems to be in Mykonos.
Let's go for a walk.
I would like to have some langurino.
It will be that it is 12.45, but it is another fantastic village, even peschici.
Liqueur and cream with the taste of pistachio.
Yes, pistachio, melon.
Melon.
Mamma mia, what a beauty!
Do you want to taste a bit of Lido?
Yes, taste it.
You have never tasted it.
This is wild plum.
Taste the caps.
They have just arrived.
Throw it here in the glass.
No, I want this too.
Otherwise you won't taste it.
Please.
What is this instead?
Wild plum.
The poison of the throat.
The golden plum.
What a scent, what a scent.
Spectacular.
It's all natural stuff.
Instead of this bomb peschici.
That is super spicy.
Super?
It's where you put it.
Close to the water.
This is mine.
And here there are always peppers.
Always pepper, all mixed.
And then there is the most spicy, the most spicy.
What is this?
There is both that and that.
The most spicy.
Yes, yes, the most spicy.
That is just super spicy.
The bomb.
We were all alone on May 12 at 1.15 am.
It was just us around.
This morning we parked the van 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Peschic.
We came for a walk in the historic center.
And we saw there is a self-service laundry.
We are going to try the first self-service laundry in Puglia.
We arrived in Vieste, Foggia province.
Obviously we are still on the promontory of Gargano, with its high white cliffs,
the cliffs and the stretches of golden beaches.
Here, today, we can observe the famous Pizzo Munno, the monolith,
symbol of this beautiful town.
The rain has caught us on the way back, so we opt for a delivery dinner on our tricycle.
Do I open the bag?
I have no words.
Do I open?
Valerio wanted pizza.
I wanted pizza.
Do I open the bag?
Carrellata?
We eat here for 10 days.
Welcome to the south.
Yeah!
There is a meter of pizza, it is not even on the table of the camper.
And in addition, not happy, he also wanted to take the antipasto croquettes for the aperitif.
The usual temper is exaggerated.
We are in Vieste, after doing the first stage of the morning from an office.
Installer.
Installer, to check the GPS system that our insurance company installed,
when we signed the contract,
which seems to have problems with the Gemini antifreeze mounted on the van.
Probably, at certain times, they use similar frequencies,
and the Gemini antifreeze sounds, triggers, even without reason,
due to these interferences with the GPS.
Maybe it's a good time.
Yes, very good.
Because we can stay still and also do a little beach.
Among the small villages of the Marina di Ostuni,
the most famous is certainly this, of Costa Merlata,
a set of bays where fine sand and rocks alternate.
It's already high as it should be.
You see and you see.
The app of the Truma tells us that we are in perfect shape.
This place is a paradise for vanlifers,
where free camping would be forbidden,
but off-season we have seen that the local police always keeps an eye on us.
Look where I brought you.
Thank you.
Thank you, uncle.
And then you brought this beautiful van here.
What is this place?
What a beauty!
We arrive in Ostuni, in the province of Brindisi.
Ostuni, also known as the white city.
In fact, the houses are painted with lime.
It is a fascinating cluster of streets,
with a succession of courts, alleys and stairs.
It's really a white labyrinth.
A white labyrinth.
Sunday morning here a lot of stuff.
If it were Sunday morning for us,
there is a living soul around, everything closed.
To find a bar, an open restaurant, you have to go crazy.
We must also consider that it is the first Sunday in the yellow area of Latvia.
Because Ostuni is located in the yellow area last month.
He blew on you before with the cat.
It was crazy that you woke him up.
Accomplice to the beautiful day, the Sunday atmosphere
and the desire for freedom after the lockdown of the winter months,
this place is found for many tourists,
but especially young people in the area.
Bars that serve appetizers and restaurants, as you can see, all exhausted.
Every time you return to the bar and everything is fine,
it's a sigh of relief.
To see that no one has approached.
